On the latest episode of Smackdown, we saw that Miz and Damien Sandow will be facing one another at Monday Night Raw to decide which of the two will get to keep the name and the likeness of the character in WWE. While it would make more sense for Sandow to go back to his original name, the belief is that Mike Mizanin will drop the match, so that he can take some time off to go film a movie with Paige. He's going to need a couple of weeks.

In a match that was better scripted than the Royal Rumble, Big Show won the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal in the second and final match of the Wrestlemania kickoff show. Lots of excellent spots. Damien Sandow finally turned on Miz, but he was unable to overcome the Big Show to win the entire thing. Sandow was booked strong, but the audience was clearly disappointed when he was the last man eliminated.

It appears that WWE has decided to shelve the much anticipated match between Damien Sandow and The Miz at Wrestlemania. The belief is that there simply is not enough time at the pay per view for these two guys to be given a match on their own. The belief is that their story line will definitely be played out in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal. You can bet money that Sandow will more than likely eliminate his boss.

In the second match at the Royal Rumble, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso were able to retain the WWE tag team championship after pinning the Miz, who was knocked out by a flying splash. The commentators were instructed to sell the fact that the former world heavyweight champion had to do things on his own because Damien Sandow was on the arena floor. The belief is that the dissension story line is going to be picking up steam between the two.

If you watch Monday Night Raw and Smackdown on a weekly basis, then you already know that the audience has been absolutely in love with Damien Sandow and his stunt man gimmick. WWE is aware of this as well, and they're hoping that he can become one of the more entertaining aspects of the Royal Rumble match next month. There is a lot of comedic potential in an environment like that, especially since he would have to imitate Miz throughout.
