WWE fans at a live event in Austria this weekend were surprised when Zack Ryder was given a victory over Damien Sandow.
This rather interesting picture surfaced on Twitter this week. It's Alpha Female, who signed a contract with TNA while they were on the European tour, and LeiD Tapa carrying Al Snow, a backstage agent for Impact Wrestling.
John Gaburick, the former WWE executive who now has a lead role in TNA, reportedly has some backstage heat with Eric Young during one of the television tapings on the European tour. The two were arguing over the longevity of a spot filmed for Impact Wrestling.
It appears that the story line and character development for Brutus Magnus is working, as fans have been booing him during the European tour. Many backstage were expecting him to receive cheers like Rockstar Spud has been receiving, but they're pleasantly surprised by the crowd reaction.
While many are already aware that WWE is not planning on pushing Damien Sandow in the near future, it now looks like he's headed in the opposite direction actually. He only has one televised victory since the year started, and that was a win over Great Khali, a performer on the lower end of the card.
Batista won Royal Rumble 2014 by eliminating Roman Reigns in the end. Other contestants during the match were Alberto Del Rio, Alexander Rusev, Antonio Cesaro, Big E Langston, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, El Torito, Erick Rowan, Fandango, Goldust, Great Khali, Jack Swagger, JBL, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Kane, Kevin Nash, Kofi Kingston, Luke Harper, R Truth, Rey Mysterio, Ryback, Seth Rollins, Sheamus and the Miz.
After his match against Damien Sandow at TLC, Big E Langston remains the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Langston got the pin fall victory after hitting a clothesline and the Big Ending finisher.
There is a Beard of the Year category at the Slammy Awards at Monday Night Raw, and the nominees are Daniel Bryan, the Wyatt Family, Damien Sandow and Zeb Colter.
While WWE was pleased with how well he did in cashing the Money in the Bank against John Cena, the company doesn't really have a plan on pushing Damien Sandow anytime soon.
After their performance on Monday Night Raw during the Broadway Brawl match, there is a good chance that Damien Sandow and Dolph Ziggler could be given a last minute spot at the Survivor Series.
Despite WWE trying to rebuild him up, Damien Sandow had his match against Kofi Kingston removed from the Hulu broadcast of Monday Night Raw this week.
