During a recent interview, Curt Hawkins shared his opinions on Tough Enough, which is making a return this year. He stated that while it was a good television show, there really is no payoff in the end. Hawkins, who is now a trainer at a wrestling school that he owns and operates, stated that it is unfair for WWE to put these untrained performers in front of national television and expect them to be prepared after just three months of training.

Just like with so many other wrestlers, Curt Hawkins has now been the subject of GFW rumors. The belief is that he is a potential candidate to join the roster. While he was not used much in WWE during his final year, Hawkins does have more name value than the majority of people on the internet wrestling community. On the flip side, he would love to be associated with a known promotion because he can funnel his students to them eventually.

In a sign that he is very close to being healthy again, Zack Ryder has started training for his potential return to WWE. He spent some time working out at the wrestling school owned by former tag team partner, Curt Hawkins. Ryder also traveled down to Florida to train at the Performance Center, which makes it easier for management to gauge his readiness. Still no word yet on when the actual return to television will take place, though.
