Some details have been revealed as to how the commentators in NXT operate. For starters, they generally do the commentary in post production and not live. Triple H is the main person that is in the ears of Rich Brennan, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Michael Cole will provide them with advice from time to time. Cole is also the one in charge when they do commentary in post production.

When Corey Graves was forced to retire as an in ring performer, WWE gave him another job by putting him at the commentating table. They are now going to start using him in a different manner. Graves will be hosting a show called Culture Shock, where he goes around to various locations that the company does live events in. He'll visit the Marvel comics headquarters, a tattoo parlor on the lower east side of Manhattan and more.

One of the ones going around the internet wrestling community involves Corey Graves. There are those that believe that management gave him a job as a commentator to keep him from speaking out.

Even though a lot of fans do not watch NXT, WWE used it as a platform to take a jab at CM Punk. When Corey Graves announced his retirement during the kickoff show for Revolution, he heaped heavy praise on company doctors, stating that they were world class. Graves also stated that they did a tremendous job in identifying his health issues and coming up with a solution. That was viewed as a jab at Punk, who complained about the medical staff.

Some very unfortunate news to report on Corey Graves. The developmental wrestler will not be able to achieve his dream of wrestling on the main roster in WWE. A series of concussions has forced him to retire as an in ring performer. He will be sticking around with the company, though. Graves has signed on to become a commentator for NXT. Company doctors have revealed that he has suffered several concussions over the last decade and on the independent wrestling circuit.
