Earlier in the year, Roddy Piper and Honky Tonk Man were engaged in a war of words. Piper called him an asshole who could sing and dance like his character claims to be able to do. Things settled down a bit between the former WWE stars. Now that Piper is dead, Honky reveals that the two of them had planned on meeting at a wrestling convention to figure out what the issues are and bury the hatchet once and for all.

For those of you that are wondering about his whereabouts since leaving TNA, Sam Shaw is still very much involved in professional wrestling. Right now, he is working live events on the independent wrestling circuit. Shaw is also keeping himself relevant and paid by appearing at conventions. He might still make a return someday to Impact Wrestling, but for now, he is doing his own thing.

During a recent convention, Brutus Beefcake revealed that he was promised the Intercontinental Championship on three separate occasions when he was working for WWE. He stated that guys like Honky Tonk Man, Ultimate Warrior and Rick Rude jumped in front of him in line. When Beefcake was finally scheduled to win the belt at a Summerslam, he ended up suffering a horrible facial injury.

Initially, Stephen Amell was supposed to sign autographs at the Wizard World convention in Chicago during the entire weekend of Summerslam. Now, he has decided to cancel out on Sunday and is only signing on Saturday. That has added even more fuel to the fire of the rumor that WWE is bringing the Arrow actor to the pay per view for a segment.

Even though he has not been using the finishing move since the rumors first sprung up, Seth Rollins is denying that WWE has banned him from using the Curb Stomp. He did so again recently during a questions and answers session with fans at a convention. He teased that he might bring the move back for a big event, but for the time being, his finisher is going to be the Pedigree. The widespread belief is that there actually is a ban in place.

One of the more interesting things that were revealed by CM Punk during his convention appearance over the weekend was the fact that he has already auditioned for a role in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. He refused to reveal which character he was trying out for, however. Punk wants to add movie star to his resume that already includes professional wrestler, mixed martial arts fighter and comic book writer.
