Through Penguin Random House, AJ Lee has signed a contract to write and release her autobiography. The former WWE Divas Champion will be spending much of 2016 writing down her memoirs. AJ spends much of her time supporting CM Punk in Wisconsin as he trains for his UFC debut. She also makes various appearances at comic and wrestling convention. The book is scheduled to be released in early 2017.

Brad Maddox

Yesterday, it was revealed that Brad Maddox had been released from his contract with WWE. Some speculation floated around as to the details surrounding the departure. Some thought that Maddox asked for his release so that he can work elsewhere. However, reports have now surfaced that the reason behind the firing is because Maddox called the Indianapolis audience, "cocky pricks", during a dark match promo.

Since he was a natural talker, as evident by the fact that he was once utilized as the on screen general manager of Monday Night Raw, WWE kept Brad Maddox around for as long as they could to see if they could find something that will work for him. Apparently, that quest has been canceled. Maddox has been given his release from his contract. He is now free to work on the independent wrestling circuit.

While doing a podcast interview show with Chris Jericho, Luke Harper revealed something very interesting about his personal life. Prior to being signed to a developmental contract with WWE, he was working on the independent wrestling scene. Since he needed to supplement his money, Harper also worked as a librarian for the city. He stated that he was in charge of keeping up with the text books.

If we do not see that big Dolph Ziggler push in the near future, then it might never happen, as the former world heavyweight champion has revealed that he only plans to be in professional wrestling for another two years. That sounds about right since Ziggler signed his three year contract extension not too long ago. The belief is that he will venture out into other areas of the entertainment industry.

Undertaker not a draw

Through FOX Sports, Jim Ross revealed a rather interesting story about Ole Anderson. Back when Undertaker was wrestling in WCW, his contract was coming to an end. Ross felt that the deal should have been renewed and tried to convince Anderson to make it happen. However, Anderson told Ross that he felt that Undertaker would never be a draw and doubted his future in the business.

It was earlier reported that AJ Styles was under contract with New Japan until the end of the year, which sparked the rumors that he was signing with WWE to join the NXT roster. However, new reports have now surfaced that the former world heavyweight champion is no longer under contract with NJPW. He is simply working on a per date deal with the promotion and can leave when he wants.

Many believe that the network is ending their experiment with professional wrestling. They feel that Impact Wrestling will be canceled soon.
