How would you describe your two bosses Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter? You can't compare Vince to anybody, if it wasn't for Vince McMahon I wouldn't be here talking to you. He knows how to make money and make stars, I wouldn't be working for Dixie Carter right now if it wasn't for Vince McMahon doing what he did for me. Dixie is a woman and she has that caring aspect about her, sometimes she lets personal [issues] get involved with business because she can't help it. She cares about the wrestlers and their wellbeing and their welfare. Other than that I think Dixie has done a great job, we are talking about a woman that has been involved in the entertainment business but not the wrestling business. It is different when you are involved in music and go over to wrestling, there is so much difference, I think the last 12 years she has had to learn on the job and I think she has done a good job. I can't say anything bad about her, one thing I'll say is that I'm not sure she would have made it without the help of Jeff Jarrett because she did need someone to help transition here and there and Jeff has a great mind for the business. She has learnt a lot during her time at TNA but at the same time she has to make business decisions that she doesn't necessarily like. Lately she has made some very rash business decisions when you are talking about Hulk Hogan and AJ Styles but she has to do what is best for the company, if she thinks that is what is best for the company she has to do it. Would other people agree, no, but she is doing what is best for her company and you can't blame her for that."
- Kurt Angle on comparisions between Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter
"I'd want to see Ultimate Warrior come back and give like three clotheslines and a splash. And literally run around shaking the ropes and run back. That's all I want. All I want is to hear the music, run down, three clotheslines and a splash. 1,2,3. Run, boom, done. See ya, bye and I'm the happiest person in the world. I've never met The Ultimate Warrior, he's been my favorite since I was a little kid, so I'm excited to hopefully get to meet him at the Hall of Fame."
- The Miz
While she has been very quiet on the professional wrestling front, Mickie James has been keeping her schedule book rather full with her music career. The former WWE and TNA star has been booked for a concert tonight at the Grey Eagle club in Asheville, North Carolina.
Colt Cabana, a good friend of CM Punk in real life, was given another tryout not too long ago with WWE, but the company opted not to sign him to a contract just yet. It now appears that he is being considered for a possible role on the upcoming WWE Network.
"CM Punk did the most memorable promo in the past 20 years of wrestling to 4 million people watching at home and I'm sure millions more who watched it online," Colt said. "If even 10 percent of the people who watched it scratched their heads and looked me, that's a whole lot of people. At the time he did that promo I had a lot of different projects going and things that I was very proud of including my podcast. I always say you can lead a horse to water but you can't make the horse drink s***** water. I like to think I had some great tasting water. Since that time a lot of people have come to check me out and stayed on for the ride. It's been great having those people as fans."
"I'm just riding the wave of fun right now. The WWE has been weirdly talking with me for over a year now. I can't rely on them though. I do my own thing until stuff gets concrete. Right now, I can't worry if I'll be doing announcing or anything else. I know I want to concentrate on continuing to wrestle around the world and growing my comedy stuff. All I can say about the future is that I'm going to be having fun with wrestling. That's a guarantee."
