During a recent interview, Rey Mysterio once again reiterated that he has not ruled out a potential return to WWE. However, he is adamant about only accepting a part time return. The reason for that is family. Mysterio revealed that his son is now 18 years old and almost ready to head off to college. His daughter is 15 years old, and he wants to make sure that he is around to look over her.

On Halloween night, Jerry Lawler was involved in a head on collision with another vehicle. After handing out cookies with his girlfriend, the hall of fame performer decided to go out for pizza before returning home to watch college football. As Lawler was legally making a left turn, another vehicle plowed into the front passenger side of his car. Lawler was fine, but his girlfriend ended up in the emergency room for four hours.

Reports have surfaced that Devin Taylor has been given a release from her developmental contract with WWE. She had been working as an interviewer for the NXT brand. Devin signed with the company in 2013 and made her debut in 2014. Management has yet to release an official statement, but sources associated with TMZ are saying that it is a done deal. Devin has a college degree in broadcast journalism, so she should be fine.

There is some sadness floating around the world of professional wrestling today. Eighteen years ago, we saw the untimely passing of Brian Pillman. He had a heart attack while staying in a hotel room in Minnesota. The former college football player was there to work a pay per view for WWE later on that night. Pillman was 35 years old at the time of his death.

She also moved on from WWE by getting a college education. The next chapter in her life began this week, as the former general manager of Smackdown got married to a man by the name of Kris Benson. The two had been engaged for a couple of months now.

Many are under the assumption that her career in the industry began when her family purchased the majority share of TNA. However, Dixie was actually a wrestling promoter back when she was in college. She even helped Jerry Lawler book a USWA live event.
