Through social media, Cody Rhodes teased fans with something special during a Wrestlemania Axxess event on Thursday. He mentioned that it was something that will help honor Dusty Rhodes for years to come. The belief is that WWE will be unveiling a statue of the American Dream. A part of the weekend is said to be an honor to Rhodes, who was made quite a name for himself in the various Texas territories before making it big.

As some of you may already know, there is a tag team tournament going on right now in NXT in honor of Dusty Rhodes, who passed away earlier this year. To make the finals even more special, WWE has made the decision to have Cody Rhodes and Goldust be the ones to present the trophy to the winning team. They will more than likely also give a speech about their father that night as well.

WWE was more than glad to host her since they want to do things right for Dusty Rhodes. Michelle also had the opportunity to watch her son, Cody Rhodes, working a high profile match against a celebrity in Stephen Amell.

While no details have been revealed just yet, the belief is that it will include several highlights from his career. There may also be interviews with wrestlers, perhaps even Cody Rhodes and Goldust.

In yet another sign of how much of a company guy that he is, John Cena revealed that he has been working this past week with a fever. That has not prevented him from working matches for WWE and working out hard at the gym. The feeling is that he will not take time away from the road unless he is suffering from a major injury. Cena worked the tour of Europe despite receiving a pretty serious eye injury during a match with Cody Rhodes.

In the opening match of Wrestlemania, Daniel Bryan defeated Dolph Ziggler, R Truth, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Dean Ambrose and Luke Harper in a ladder match to win the Intercontinental Championship. WWE expected a great performance here, and that is exactly what they got. Lots of good spots. Very high impact. The end saw Bryan and Ziggler trading stiff headbutts on top of the ladder before Bryan knocked out Ziggler.
