While he still needs further training, Cody Hall has been impressing those within New Japan. He has been very receptive to advice and ideas that are presented to him. In the ring, Hall has shown a natural ability for screen presence. The belief is that he is a surefire lock to become a WWE star once he is done training overseas. If he behaves, then Scott Hall might be brought in along with his son as well.

Over the last couple of years, Scott Hall and Cody Hall have mended their relationship and are now extremely close. The two toy around with the possibility of joining WWE together. Cody was already generating interest from management because of his size and who his father is. However, that interest has intensified now that is proving himself in New Japan. From early on in his career, Cody Hall became married to the idea that he would not rush to sign with WWE. He wanted to be well traveled and well trained before accepting his destiny in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. That move has turned out rather well because his stock has been rising pretty rapidly in the industry. Hall could conceivably jump ahead of other performers when he finally joins the developmental program.

Not wanting to sign with WWE yet, Cody Hall decided to go abroad to train in Tokyo. To help him connect with the audience, New Japan placed him into the massively popular Bullet Club stable. Apparently, he is coming along pretty well. The front office has decided to put him into a big six man tag team match at Invasion Attack, where he will team with Tama Tonga and Yujiro Takahashi to face Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima and Tomoaki Honma.

Last night, the developmental wrestlers down at the WWE Performance Center got themselves a nice little treat. They were visited by Scott Hall, a man whom many of the performers watched when they were younger. He observed them working in the ring and even offered some advice. The belief is that Hall is interested in working as a trainer some day. He has a bit more time on his hand now that his son Cody Hall is off training in Japan.

Unlike a lot of his peers, Cody Hall does not want to capitalize on nepotism. He refuses to sign with WWE until he has proven himself to be more than just the son of Scott Hall, who was recently elected into the hall of fame. To further his training, the 6'8" wrestler is heading to New Japan. No word yet on whether or not he will wrestle for the promotion, but he definitely will be spending a good amount of time in their dojo, gaining some much needed seasoning.
