When it comes to posting vague messages on social media, very few people are as adept at it than CM Punk. Since he is also very famous, it sparks a lot of speculations when he posts stuff. His latest comments have left fans wondering if he and AJ Lee are on the outs. The rumor going around is that the real life married couple is considering a split. Some have suggested that her being in WWE is causing some hard to avoid issues between the two.

Brock Lesnar advice

When CM Punk decided to join UFC after leaving WWE, he turned to Brock Lesnar for some advice. The former NCAA champion was quite eager to help. Punk asked Lesnar what the most difficult part of the transition was, so Lesnar told him that the hardest part was letting go. Now that he has trained extensively, Punk realizes that the advice was absolutely sound. He admits to punching too lightly at times because of his pro wrestling background.

Punk and Lesnar in UFC

An interesting idea is being tossed around right now, and if implemented, it could shatter pay per view records for UFC. CM Punk is already in the promotion and training for his first fight. Brock Lesnar is finishing off his contract with WWE in a couple of weeks and has eyes on a return to mixed martial arts. If the promotion were to put the debut fight for Punk and the return fight for Lesnar on the same card, that would draw tremendous interest.

Inside MMA decided to interview Steve Austin this week, and they prodded him into answering questions about his long rumored return to WWE. The former world heavyweight champion said that he would not be opposed to the idea, and he listed CM Punk as someone that would make an ideal opponent for him. Austin put over Punk by stating that he was one of the best at ring psychology. He feels a match between the two would do good money.

Del Rio defends Punk

During a recent interview with The Troy Show, Alberto Del Rio was asked about the claims made by CM Punk towards the WWE medical department. Del Rio stated that he never had any issues with them personally, but he also stated that Punk would not lie about such things. Del Rio knows Punk better than fans who have never been around him for an extended period of time. He also teased that Punk could potentially end up in Lucha Underground.

CM Punk sparring

In a sign that he is another step closer to making his UFC debut, CM Punk was thrown into a sparring match on Monday. He fought against Craig Eckelberg, who has an overall record of 10 wins and 1 loss in a span of three years. The trainer stated that Punk had a few things to work out, but he also said that he was very proud of the former WWE star for how far along he has progressed. He stated that the potential is definitely there.

Another interesting backstage story in WWE has been told by Court Bauer, a former writer for the company. He stated that management purposely made it where CM Punk could never sell more merchandise than John Cena. Whenever the number for Punk merchandise would rise, the company would then produce more products for Cena. They also shipped out a lot more Cena merchandise to the live events to make sure Punk did not beat him.

After doing an autograph session over the weekend, CM Punk was made aware that some of the fans ended up taking the signed merchandise and put it up for sale online. That upset the former WWE Heavyweight Champion, stating that he was simply trying to do a nice thing for the fans but a few assholes end up ruining it for everyone. People have long criticized Punk for not being overly friendly, but things like these are the reasons behind that.

CM Punk documentary

Challengers Comics had an event in Chicago on Saturday, and CM Punk made a rare public appearance to promote his new Thor comic book. In a sign that his popularity is still massive, the line of fans waiting to see him wrapped around three blocks. Many stood in 15 degree temperature for hours just for the opportunity to meet and greet the former WWE and current UFC star. Camera crews were filming the event for a documentary.
