AJ Lee autobiography

Through Penguin Random House, AJ Lee has signed a contract to write and release her autobiography. The former WWE Divas Champion will be spending much of 2016 writing down her memoirs. AJ spends much of her time supporting CM Punk in Wisconsin as he trains for his UFC debut. She also makes various appearances at comic and wrestling convention. The book is scheduled to be released in early 2017.

Jesse Ventura suing WWE

Back in 1990, Jesse Ventura sued Vince McMahon for royalties on the home videos that he appeared on. During a recent interview, someone brought up the point that the WWE Network has changed things up a bit, which prompted Ventura to mention that he was going to be contacting his lawyers to see if his quarterly checks need to be adjusted. This is similar to the complaints that CM Punk had before leaving the company.

CM Punk on Roddy Piper

While he has largely stayed away from things related to professional wrestling, CM Punk did have a little involvement this week. The former world heavyweight champion attended a screening of They Live, the movie which Roddy Piper is famous for starring in. Punk was tasked with giving a speech about the WWE legend. Through social media, he stated that it was an honor to do that for Piper.

Lana writing scripts

In a sign that she is preparing for life after WWE some day, Lana recently revealed through social media that she has started working on several writing projects. A movie script and a television pilot are being written, in case Hollywood comes calling some day. She also noted that she was writing a book and potentially a comic book, a door which was recently opened when CM Punk transitioned from being a wrestler to working for Marvel.

CM Punk bashes Komen

Since the company heavily publicizes it, it is no secret that WWE is working with Komen to help raise awareness for breast cancer. CM Punk, however, has been urging fans to avoid that charitable foundation. The former world heavyweight champion does not think that they are completely honest with the money that gets donated. Punk wants fans to do some research and find a better place to send their money if they want to help.

The wait might almost be over. Rumors are floating around that UFC officials have started looking at potential opponents for CM Punk. They feel that he has advanced far enough in his training for them to do that now. Of course, it is not a simple process, as the matchmakers still need to factor in the marketing side of seeing the debut match of a former WWE Heavyweight Champion. An announcement is expected soon.

Punk and AJ in movie

There is an action horror movie being made right now called Hellstorm. The plot is that the financial world collapses and a huge world war breaks out. The film will focus on the aftermath, where survivors band together to live. UFC star CM Punk and former WWE diva AJ Lee both have parts in the movie. No word yet on how big their roles are going to be. Filming starts in November.

Del Rio supporting Punk

When asked if he would be willing to fight CM Punk in a UFC match, Alberto Del Rio said he would if the offer was fair and right. However, that does not mean that there is any animosity between the two former WWE stars. They're just competitive guys who are on friendly terms. Del Rio even stated that he was going to attend the debut match of Punk, which still has not been booked by Dana White.

When Colt Cabana asked CM Punk to make an appearance on his podcast show, they had no idea what trouble they were getting themselves into. The doctor that worked for WWE decided to sue because of the comments that were made about him. Punk and Cabana recently lost a big battle since a judge ruled against their wish to have the case thrown out. Things will now move forward.

Bret Hart on CM Punk

While much of the internet wrestling community is still emotional about the way that CM Punk walked out on WWE, Bret Hart has a different opinion. He completely agrees with how Punk did it. In fact, Hart seemed extremely proud of the former world heavyweight champion for doing that because he feels that Punk stood up for every performer backstage by willingly leaving in order to stand up for what he believes in.
