When you are the new kid in town, then humility is something that is expected of you. That is the case with CM Punk right now since he is training for his first fight in UFC. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that he mops the floor at Roufusport facility after his training sessions. Doing that shows the other fighters that he is not just looking to have things handed to him.

Critics were already complaining that CM Punk was taking too long to make his debut in UFC. Those complaints are about to be even louder, as the former world heavyweight champion has now suffered some sort of shoulder injury while doing MMA training. That means that his debut match will have to be postponed for a couple of months. Punk does not want to step into the ring until he feels that he is truly ready to compete.

The wait might almost be over. Rumors are floating around that UFC officials have started looking at potential opponents for CM Punk. They feel that he has advanced far enough in his training for them to do that now. Of course, it is not a simple process, as the matchmakers still need to factor in the marketing side of seeing the debut match of a former WWE Heavyweight Champion. An announcement is expected soon.

Though he spends most of his waking hour doing training for his UFC debut, CM Punk does take a moment or two for leisure. He knows that it is a necessary ingredient for his mental and physical health. The former world heavyweight champion was spotted at Riot Fest, where he got on stage with his good friend. Lars Frederiksen of Rancid. Punk also got to hang out with Living Colour, the band that does his theme song.

For someone that had been in the professional wrestling industry for so many years, CM Punk has been rather quiet in his quest to become a star in UFC. Mick Foley thinks that is fine because the former world heavyweight champion is focused on training at the moment. Foley feels that Punk will start being a promoter when he gets closer to his debut match.

In a sign that he is committing even more of himself into his UFC career, it has now been revealed that CM Punk has moved to Milwaukee, so he can be that much closer to the training facilities. That has impressed a lot of people in the industry, including Dana White. For a while there, he was commuting on a daily to the city from his beloved hometown of Chicago.

As soon as it was announced that she was retiring from WWE, speculations began that AJ Lee would some day do an interview where she revealed exactly what caused her to walk away from the company and her lifelong dream. There are rumors that she has already received a couple of offers to do the shoot interview, but as of right now, she has no interest in doing that because it would cause a bit of a distraction to CM Punk and his training.

For whatever reasons, the internet wrestling community has long speculated that AJ Lee was pregnant. The speculation heated up even more once she shocked the world by retiring from WWE earlier this month. CM Punk was asked about that rumor during a convention this weekend, and he flat out denied that they were going to be having a baby. His focus right now is on training for his first UFC fight, so starting a family has to wait.

An interesting idea is being tossed around right now, and if implemented, it could shatter pay per view records for UFC. CM Punk is already in the promotion and training for his first fight. Brock Lesnar is finishing off his contract with WWE in a couple of weeks and has eyes on a return to mixed martial arts. If the promotion were to put the debut fight for Punk and the return fight for Lesnar on the same card, that would draw tremendous interest.

Before dedicating himself completely to MMA training, CM Punk decided to take a little trip with his wife, AJ Lee, down to Puerto Rico to visit her family. The couple was spotted by a fan, and the two of them actually took the time to take some pictures, which was then posted to a social media website. The belief is that Punk will start traveling up to Milwaukee soon to train with Roufusports. His UFC debut is still expected to take place in 2015.
