Dixie Carter
While a lot of fans bashed TNA for paying big bucks to Hulk Hogan over the years, his true value is coming out as Dixie Carter is having some trouble trying to secure a new television deal for Impact Wrestling. Hogan's name value helped open a lot of doors in business for the company, and his absence has made it a bit harder to sell networks on their product.

Dixie Carter
Rumors are floating around right now that Vince McMahon would be interested in purchasing the TNA library to add to his WWE Network. It could simply just be all speculation right now, as the company has been focused on cutting back their spending because of how much money has been lost over the last several months. Obviously, no negotiations have taken place since Dixie Carter is still trying to find a new television deal for Impact Wrestling.

Dixie Carter
Since rumors broke out about Spike TV canceling Impact Wrestling, TNA officials had to react quickly to prevent their performers from panicking. Dixie Carter and her staff sent out emails to the wrestlers to let them know that the rumors were not true. She reiterated to the crew that negotiations were still ongoing with the network, and the show should remain on television.

Matt Morgan
"If it's true that Spike TV doesn't renew their deal with TNA, it's a double edged sword, in my opinion. They were and are atrociously bad at advertising the show whatsoever. I never used to see us advertised except maybe an hour before Impact Wrestling started. Not acceptable. The most annoying part when I was still wrestling there was I'd see Bellator constantly advertised, and we were doing better numbers at the time. Hell, even Manswers got better public relations by the network than we did. The bad side of the sword is that it obviously takes a ton of TNA's revenue away that they counted on to pay the wrestlers. For the company's future, I think the further they get the hell away from Spike, the better the company will be. That's just my opinion obviously." - Matt Morgan on the rumors that Spike TV is canceling their television deal with TNA

Something like this may entice management to change up their booking style.

Even though he is now back in TNA, Rob Terry still continues to work for other wrestling promotions. Thanks to the new taping schedule for Impact Wrestling, he is able to work shows in Europe in early August. Josh Mathews
Josh Mathews might not be out of a job for too long. Rumors are floating around that TNA is very close to signing him to a contract. Tommy Dreamer
Those of you that watch Impact Wrestling on a regular basis already know that Tommy Dreamer has returned as a character. However, do not expect to see him sticking around on TNA television for too long. His character is expected to be written off very soon. June 27, 2014
Ethan Carter
Things did not go exactly as planned for Ethan Carter on Impact Wrestling last night. The TNA star was busted open by an errant shot from a trash can. Carter was taken to a New York City hospital, so that doctors could give him a dozen staples to close the wound. The belief is that he will not be missing any of the upcoming episodes, but he might just be used in segments instead.

July 15, 2014
Vince McMahon
Since his contract is expiring in a few days, there were many who believed that WWE was going to extend their contract with CM Punk since he has been gone for an extended period of time. July 8, 2014
CM Punk
In a very subtle manner, CM Punk took a jab at WWE for their recent handling of the Emma situation. When she was released, former writer Seth Mates posted a message on Twitter about the company being hypocritical and holding double standards. Punk added that post as a favorite on his account. The fact that Punk would do that shows that he still harbors some resentment towards WWE.
July 3, 2014
John Cena
While the general consensus in professional wrestling is that the world heavyweight champion plays a bit part in the overall success of the company, a recent article from Forbes attempts to dispute that by looking at the financial ramifications during the title reigns of CM Punk, John Cena and Randy Orton. Since the numbers are all over the place, the author concluded that the heavyweight champion does not have much of an effect on the business end of WWE.
