CM Punk first fight

The wait might almost be over. Rumors are floating around that UFC officials have started looking at potential opponents for CM Punk. They feel that he has advanced far enough in his training for them to do that now. Of course, it is not a simple process, as the matchmakers still need to factor in the marketing side of seeing the debut match of a former WWE Heavyweight Champion. An announcement is expected soon.

There is an action horror movie being made right now called Hellstorm. The plot is that the financial world collapses and a huge world war breaks out. The film will focus on the aftermath, where survivors band together to live. UFC star CM Punk and former WWE diva AJ Lee both have parts in the movie. No word yet on how big their roles are going to be. Filming starts in November.

When asked if he would be willing to fight CM Punk in a UFC match, Alberto Del Rio said he would if the offer was fair and right. However, that does not mean that there is any animosity between the two former WWE stars. They're just competitive guys who are on friendly terms. Del Rio even stated that he was going to attend the debut match of Punk, which still has not been booked by Dana White.

He knows that it is a necessary ingredient for his mental and physical health. The former world heavyweight champion was spotted at Riot Fest, where he got on stage with his good friend. Lars Frederiksen of Rancid. Punk also got to hang out with Living Colour, the band that does his theme song.

When Colt Cabana asked CM Punk to make an appearance on his podcast show, they had no idea what trouble they were getting themselves into. The doctor that worked for WWE decided to sue because of the comments that were made about him. Punk and Cabana recently lost a big battle since a judge ruled against their wish to have the case thrown out. Things will now move forward.

Souray loses bet to CM Punk

Some people are really big hockey fans. Kelly Kelly revealed that her husband, Sheldon Souray, who plays in the NHL, lost a bet to CM Punk over the Chicago Blackhawks winning the championship. Since he lost, Souray now has to a get a tattoo somewhere on his body with Punk's name on there. Punk would have had to do the same thing if his beloved team had failed to win the title.

While much of the internet wrestling community is still emotional about the way that CM Punk walked out on WWE, Bret Hart has a different opinion. He completely agrees with how Punk did it. In fact, Hart seemed extremely proud of the former world heavyweight champion for doing that because he feels that Punk stood up for every performer backstage by willingly leaving in order to stand up for what he believes in.

Punk loses role to Sheamus

As some of you may already know, CM Punk and Sheamus both auditioned for the role of Rocksteady in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. The latter ended up getting the part. Punk was asked about losing out to his former coworker during a recent interview. He stated that he was fine with it because the studios really were looking for two heavily muscular performers for the part.

A war of words erupted yesterday between CM Punk and a UFC fighter named Cathal Pendred, who might be using this to drum up attention for himself. Pendrid mocked Punk for being a former professional wrestler that is simply using his fame to get himself a spot in the biggest MMA promotion on the planet. Punk countered by pointing out that he has made a whole lot more money than Pendred has.

Dana White caused quite the controversy when he said that professional wrestling was fake. It elicited quite the rage from Taz. When asked how he felt about Kevin Nash and CM Punk using the same term to describe the industry, the ECW legend stated that he was fine with that because Nash and Punk have paid their dues to the business. They have sacrificed their bodies to entertain the fans for years.
