CJ Parker

New Japan signs CJ Parker

When CJ Parker was released by WWE, he decided to take a big gamble on himself. He packed his bags and headed to Tokyo. New Japan gave him a trial run. It looks like Parker was right to believe in himself. New Japan has opted to give Parker a full time contract. He is now an official member of their roster. This is quite the victory for someone that was not deemed to be good enough to most past the NXT level.

CJ Parker not retiring

When CJ Parker announced his retirement earlier in the year, the belief was that he was done with professional wrestling after being given his release by WWE. However, that does not appear to be the case. Apparently, he is only retiring his persona. The former NXT star is heading to New Japan to wrestle there, despite not having established himself in the United States yet. He will be going by the name of Juice Robinson.

CJ Parker released

In a move that doesn't come as much of a surprise to anyone, CJ Parker has been released by WWE. The split is said to be quite amicable between both sides. Parker requested to leave, and management allowed him to do so. The reason for wanting out is because he was used mainly as an enhancement talent in NXT with very little chance of making it to the main roster. The front office loved his work ethics, but simply did not see star power.
