If there is a spotlight around, then Roddy Piper wants to be in it. The WWE legend watched Survivor Series 2014 last night, and he witnessed the debut of Sting. Sensing an opportunity, he told fans on Twitter that he would gladly work a tag team match with Sting against Hulk Hogan and a mystery partner. Piper also stated that he only needed seven weeks to be physically prepared for the bout.

Since Sting made his WWE debut last night at Survivor Series 2014 by attacking Triple H, many are under the impression that a match between the two will be taking place soon. That might not necessarily be the case. Management is still hoping that Undertaker can be healthy enough to work a match at Wrestlemania 31, where he would do the dream match with Sting. HHH is said to be a backup opponent in case Undertaker cannot go.

WWE is really desperate to increase the subscribers count for the WWE Network, and it might prompt them to pull the trigger on something that fans have long been waiting to see. In addition to providing their online service for free during the entire month of November, management is now seriously discussing the possibility of having Sting make his official on screen debut for the company.

Of course, when you have the experience that Kevin Steen has, the wait is a lot shorter. The former ROH Heavyweight Champion, who is now going by the name of Kevin Owens, is scheduled to make his debut on December 11, 2014 at the Takeover: R Evolution event.

Those that watch WWE NXT saw a character named Finn Balor making his debut this week by being the mystery partner for Hideo Itami in his feud against the Ascension. That is pretty big news for fans of international wrestling. Balor was formerly known as Prince Devitt, a star in New Japan for a very long time. Itami is Kenta Kobayashi, one of the better performers in all of Asia.

Back in June, Brodus Clay was given a release by WWE, so he informed his fans that his professional wrestling career was far from over. After exploring his options in Japan, the former bodyguard for Snoop Dogg decided to remain stateside by signing with TNA. He made his television debut for the company this week on Impact Wrestling by aligning himself with Ethan Carter and defeating Shark Boy in a match.

Rumors are floating around that WWE is going to be bringing in another member of the Wyatt Family to help Bray Wyatt regain some of the momentum that he has lost over the last couple of weeks. Word has it that the story line will consists of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper both being banned from ringside at Summerslam 2014. The new character would make their debut that night.

A familiar face showed up on Impact Wrestling not too long ago. Ezekiel Jackson made his debut for TNA. However, it is simply a temporary stint for the big man. The belief is that Jackson signed on for a couple of appearances in order to increase his name value with independent wrestling promoters. It improves your chances of being signed when you are spotted on a nationally televised show.

Some interesting news coming out of TNA, as Bellator has now announced that Bobby Lashley will be making his MMA debut for their company in September. The current world heavyweight champion is scheduled to fight against veteran Josh Burns at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The belief is that Spike heavily pushed to make this happen as Bellator and TNA are two of their top performing brands.

In a really interesting move, WWE is looking to hire a body double for Sting, so that they can film some sort of stunt for the upcoming DVD about the legendary WCW star. While many fans are clamoring for Sting to finally make his debut in WWE, the belief is that the two sides have only come to an agreement on a contract to produce content and merchandise.

While WWE was severely disappointed with the fact that the previous episode lost viewers, management is extremely pleased that Total Divas drew in big numbers. The season finale, which featured the much anticipated wedding of Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, drew in more than 1.5 million viewers. The third season has already been renewed and will make its debut this upcoming fall.

It looks like TNA is investing heavily into Bram, a new character who recently made his debut as a childhood friend of former world heavyweight champion Brutus Magnus. Even though he has yet to make a name for himself in the industry, Bram has been given a multiple year contract by TNA. While it may not be for a large sum of money, the commitment is quite telling.

Smith Hart, the older brother of Bret Hart, had been promoting a show, where David Benoit, the son of Chris Benoit, was going to be making his official debut in professional wrestling. However, Chris Jericho decided to step in and prevent that from happening. The former WWE champion felt that Benoit was not trained enough, so he reportedly convince Chavo Guerrero to back out of the event as well.

Wizard World is making its debut in San Antonio later this year, and the promoters have wisely secured one of the biggest names in WWE for the event. In August, John Cena will be heading down to Texas to make an appearance at the comic convention. In a bit of news that is sure to disappoint the millions of guys that were lusting after her, Christy Hemme has revealed that she is pregnant with her first child. The TNA Knockout is five months into the pregnancy. Christy should be giving birth by the end of the year or the beginning of next year. She also revealed that she and her husband have had baby names picked out since they initially met.

For a period of time there, Austin Aries was reportedly in the dog house with officials in TNA because of an incident with Christy Hemme that embarrassed the company. Rumors have it that the punishment is over and the situation has been completely resolved. Aries is said to be on good terms with management again, which could explain why he is being pushed again.

The TNA Knockouts website has undergone a bit of a makeover, with the company making some modifications to the layout and adding some new performers. A quick glance at the site shows that TNA now has nine Knockouts on the roster. Some new pictures of ODB, Christy Hemme, Velvet Sky, Taryn Terrell, Gail Kim, Santana Garrett, Angelina Love, Madison Rayne and Brooke Tessmacher have been uploaded.

In a sign that her powers are increasing backstage, news coming out of TNA is that Christy Hemme was actually the person that convinced upper management to sign Rebel. The two of them have a personal and professional relationship that dates back before Christy was working for WWE. Rebel is expected to receive a solid push in the Knockouts division eventually.

In a TNA Sacrifice 2014 match where the loser would be sent to the mental ward, Mr Anderson was able to defeat Sam Shaw by delivering the Mic Check finishing move onto the back of the van and tossing his opponent into the vehicle. TNA Knockout Christy Hemme provided the assistance to Anderson by showing up and distracting Anderson.

The belief is that she will be specializing in the Knockouts division, where it will be her job to come up with stories for the girls. At one point last night during TNA Lockdown 2014, Sam Shaw was a Twitter trend, as a lot of fans were on the social media site talking about his match against Mr Anderson. His stalker story line with Christy Hemme has managed to gain the attention of the industry, and he was given a good amount of credibility from Anderson in that victory over the weekend.

At TNA Lockdown 2014, Mr Anderson was able to climb out of the cage, but the referee was knocked out, and he had no choice but to return to the ring because Sam Shaw managed pull Christy Hemme into the ring. Christy was able to escape, but Anderson was caught with a low blow and a choke hold, which enabled Shawn to walk out and get the win.

There are some talks backstage that Christy Hemme could be doing a heel turn and aligning with Sam Shaw at TNA Lockdown 2014 during his match against Mr Anderson. That would provide a bit of a shock factor to the story. However, there are also a lot of people pushing against that, as they feel that Shaw can be used to terrorize the other Knockouts as well.

After the latest episode of Impact Wrestling, it has now been confirmed that Mr Anderson and Sam Shaw will have a match at TNA Lockdown 2014. Christy Hemme will definitely be involved in the match, as she has been an integral part of this particular story line. As is the theme with the rest of the show, Anderson and Shaw will be working in a steel cage.
