Axl Rotten passes away

After a very rough year, Axl Rotten has passed away. WWE themselves have confirmed that the ECW legend is dead. Back issues, among other things, have forced Rotten to be in and out of the hospital. Since he exhausted all of his funds while not being able to work, Axl asked for help from fans to pay his medical bills. Chris Jericho was one of the first people to send some money towards Rotten. He was 44 years old.

Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 32

When asked by a fan through social media if he would be in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania 32 this year, Chris Jericho flat out stated that there was no chance in hell of that happening. The belief is that the former world heavyweight champion wants a regular match on the main card, preferably with someone younger and newer that he can put over. Jericho has a decent amount of backstage clout with WWE officials.

Chris Jericho discusses Fozzy

When asked about his band, Fozzy, Chris Jericho noted that while being a WWE star helped bring attention to the group, it also worked against them a little bit. Many felt that since Jericho was already established as a professional wrestler, he was simply doing the music thing to bring more attention to his grappling career. Chris reiterated that he is very passionate about music and wants the band to do really well.

Some fans who watched Monday Night Raw were rather upset with Chris Jericho because they believed that the former world heavyweight champion made a racial comment regarding the Usos. Jericho stated that they were his "back of the bus" boys. Well, several WWE stars chimed in on social media and explained that the term was describing wrestlers who partied at the back of the bus after live events.

Chris Jericho responds to complaints

When Chris Jericho made his return to WWE, fans had an interesting reaction this time around. Some started to criticize the former world heavyweight champion for coming back far too frequently. Jericho responded by saying that while he loves all of the fans, he feels that some people complain way too much. Chris also stated that since he still has a passion for wrestling, he is going to keep coming back to World Wrestling Entertainment.

There are rumors floating around that Chris Jericho might not have written his script during his return to WWE on Monday Night Raw earlier in the week. Generally, the former world heavyweight champion has the trust and respect of upper management to either come up with his own material or provide a ton of feedback. Jericho's promo on this week's episode did not feel like something he would naturally say.

A lot of professional wrestlers try their hands at acting at some point in their careers. MVP does not want to follow those footsteps. Instead, he wants to be more like Chris Jericho. The former WWE United States Heavyweight Champion stated that he is inspired by Jericho and wants to start his own hardcore band before he is too old to do so. Montel Vontavious Porter wants to be known as the "black Henry Rollins".

JTG reveals meaning of his name

While having a discussion with Chris Jericho on his weekly podcast show, Talk is Jericho, JTG finally revealed what his name stood for. He stated that he felt he was "just too good". However, to prevent backstage heat from veteran performers and executives, he decided to tell people in WWE that the initials stood for "just too gangsta", which fits in with the Cryme Tyme gimmick that he had.
