It appears that WWE has called in some heavy hitters to make up for the loss of Steve Austin on the next season of Tough Enough. Chris Jericho has finally been announced as the host. He will be joined by a panel consisting of Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige. Not only that, the trainers are going to be Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. There will be guest appearances made on the show by Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and John Cena.

Chris Jericho has already done it. Batista is thinking about doing it. Now, all eyes are on Dwayne Johnson to see if he would be interested in returning to WWE to work a schedule where you only do live events. The answer to that is rather disappointing if you're a big fan. Johnson simply does not have the time to do it because of all the business projects that he has going on at once. There is very little time in between shooting movies as well.

During his podcast interview with Chris Jericho, John Cena revealed just how he close he was to turning heel during his feud against The Rock. It was to the point where he spent $5,000 to have new ring gear created for his heel persona. However, WWE scrapped that idea. Instead of asking for a refund, Cena told the seamstress to put that money towards developmental wrestlers that come to her for new apparel. Yet another good deed by Cena.

A rather interesting tidbit was revealed when John Cena was the guest on the podcast interview hosted by Chris Jericho in regards to alcohol consumption. Jericho revealed that Cena is the only guy in WWE that can drink him under the table. Many will find that hard to believe since Cena has such a clean cut persona. It will interesting to see how the front office reacts to the two of them sharing that bit of information with a younger audience.

Another person that responded to Chris Jericho defending Bill DeMott from allegations of abuse is Joey Ryan, who has been quite vocal about his disgust with the lead developmental trainer. Ryan said that he does not think that Jericho is condoning the actions of DeMott, but he does feel that a response from Jericho shows that a lot of the allegations are true. Ryan tried out for WWE a while back and felt he was not given a chance.

During a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, the wildly underrated Wade Barrett revealed a canceled story line that might not have gone over very well with the audience. When WWE was in Chicago last year, they wanted to take a jab at the fans by having Barrett impersonate CM Punk, who had left the company. Management changed up the plans at the very last minute and do an alternate segment with Paul Heyman teasing the audience.

When word broke out that he was going to be doing a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, many were under the impression that Ryback was going to speak out on the allegations thrown at him by CM Punk. However, it appears that WWE advised him to scale back on the verbal assault. The Big Guy addressed the issues, but stated that he no longer takes it personal. He even wished Punk the best in his new pursuit to become a star in UFC.
