Before AJ Lee stunned the professional wrestling world by announcing her early retirement from WWE, there were plans in place for her to turn do a heel turn and challenge Paige, who is still being scheduled to capture the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella at Extreme Rules. The creative department had to quickly find alternative plans. Since they already wrote the story, they simply decided to replace AJ with Naomi.

Naomi turns heel

On Monday Night Raw, Naomi did a heel turn by attacking Paige after the latter eliminated the former to win the divas battle royal, which was held to determine the top contender for the championship. The plan right now is for Nikki Bella to drop the belt and build up some heel challenger for the Pale Princess to work with for the next couple of months. AJ Lee departure

To give you even more of an idea of just how bad things were becoming for her, AJ Lee left WWE despite being in line for a push. She was supposed to have started a feud with Nikki Bella after Wrestlemania, and there was a very good chance that she would have captured the Divas Championship. Seth Rollins ethnic background

Since a lot of fans are aware of his real name, many have been wondering why WWE has not been pushing Seth Rollins harder on the Hispanic demographic, especially now that he holds the biggest championship in the promotion. Daniel Bryan holds the Intercontinental Championship. Kevin Owens and Antonio Cesaro both hold titles. The only two guys that never worked for that promotion are Tyson Kidd and John Cena. The company has trouble keeping people interested after Wrestlemania. This does not sit well with Vince McMahon. A lot of wrestling fans opted to watch the season finale of Better Call Saul and the NCAA Championship game between Duke and Wisconsin.

Rusev plans changed

When WWE decided to put the world heavyweight championship on Seth Rollins instead of Roman Reigns, that changed up plans that they had for Rusev. Initially, he was supposed to have been built up as a top level heel challenger for Reigns. Now that another heel is in the top spot, there is only so much that the Russian sympathizer can be pushed. The belief is that management extended his feud with John Cena, so they can figure out what to do.

WWE fans leaving

In a rather interesting bit of news, a lot of fans in attendance at Monday Night Raw were said to have left before the main event even started. That is peculiar because WWE was trying to determine a number one contender for their world heavyweight championship. Apparently, a lot of these fans were already able to predict that Randy Orton was going to be the one to challenge Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules, so they walked out.
