Rumors have it that one of the ideas being floated around backstage in WWE is for Samoa Joe and Finn Balor to successfully win the Dusty Rhodes memorial tournament. That would then lead to Joe somehow challenging Balor for the NXT Championship in a friendly feud. That particular match would more than likely be the biggest draw for the developmental promotion at this point in time.

Since WWE wants Nikki Bella to have fresh challengers and a long title reign, rumors have it that Becky Lynch will be the next diva to challenge her for the championship. It is much too soon for Becky to hold the title, so she will more than likely be used as fodder for the next couple of weeks. The spotlight should be good for the performer from Ireland.

Rumors are floating around right now that Kevin Owens is going to be winning the NXT Heavyweight Championship back from Finn Balor. A possible reason for the speculation is that fans in attendance at the taping saw Owens carrying around the belt. There is a possibility that his character simply stole the belt from Balor in order to annoy him. Owens is penciled in as a permanent member of the main roster.

Well, rumors are floating around now that they are going to give him the Intercontinental Championship to work with.

There are some rumblings that Bully Ray could be making his return to TNA tonight on Impact Wrestling. Management has been promoting the fact that a former world heavyweight championship would be making a comeback. Of course, they could have been canceled.

Daniel Bryan winning IC title

Earlier in the month, rumors surfaced that WWE was going to put the Intercontinental Championship on Daniel Bryan so that he could headline the live events with it. However, Bryan has much bigger plans than that. He noted that his friend Shinsuke Nakamura managed to headline a New Japan show with their version of the IC belt. The IWGP World Heavyweight worked the under card. Bryan wants to do something similar if he wins the belt.
