While a lot of people have ruled out the possibility because of verbal jabs that he took at the company while inducting Carlos Colon into the hall of fame during Wrestlemania 30 weekend, there is still a chance that Carlito could be making a comeback with WWE. A lot of people in management knew that he was going to be joking around when they initially invited him.

Since he is not as big of a star in the United States as he was in Puerto Rico, WWE did not expect a grand reaction from the audience when Carlos Colon gave his hall of fame induction speech. In fact, Carlito received a much bigger and more lively reaction from the fans. Colon gave a solid speech that did not go on too long, but it was not something that blew everyone away.

While nothing has been made official yet in regards to who will be inducting Carlos Colon, Carlito has revealed that he will be definitely be at Wrestlemania 30 to watch his father being inducted into the hall of fame that weekend. The belief is that WWE will have the former US champion, Diego and Fernando all inducting Colon in the segment.

The Los Matadores gimmick has not exactly drawn in the fans, so the trio could be paired together.

Even though he did not leave the company on the best of terms, Carlito is said to be returning to WWE at Wrestlemania 30 to induct his father Carlos Colon into the hall of fame. The belief is that his brother Diego and his cousin Fernando will also be a part of the induction ceremony as well. The induction announcement for Colon will be made during Smackdown this Friday.

It was easier for promoters and fans to spell and pronounce, and the move paid off rather well.

Years before the Bret Hart screwjob in Montreal, Vince McMahon pulled the same trick on Wendi Richter. Since she would not sign a new contract with the company, McMahon wanted to take the belt off of her, so instead of telling her about it, the future WWE CEO opted to put the Fabulous Moolah in a mask. Along with the referee, Moolah changed the ending and took the belt off of Richter, whom the legendary performer trained.
