In a move that was widely expected, WWE announced that AJ Lee and Paige will be teaming up against Nikki Bella and Brie Bella at Wrestlemania. The two baby faces were long candidates to be on the card because of their popularity. Management knew that it would appease the fans. The Bella Twins were also long considered as candidates to be a part of some type of divas match at the pay per view because they are the centerpieces.

Inducting the Bushwhackers

When the announcement was made that the Bushwhackers were going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during Wrestlemania weekend, there were not a lot of known candidates in regards to who will be inducting them. Turns out, the perfect candidate was right under our noses. John Laurinaitis will be doing the honors. When he was first starting out as a wrestler, Laurinaitis served as a flag holder for Butch Miller and Luke Williams.

Plus, his name value could prove to be invaluable when it comes to new television contracts.

Another name has surfaced for an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony at Wrestlemania this year. Masahiro Chono is considered a candidate for the role. Management has been wanting a legend from Japan to be included in this class, and several names, including Tatsumi Fujinami and Genichiro Tenryu, have surfaced. Chono might have an advantage since he already has a merchandise agreement with the company.

Great Muta induction

As some of you may already know by now, WWE wants to induct a legend from Japan into their hall of fame at Wrestlemania next month. Names like Tatsumi Fujinami and Genichiro Tenryu have been discussed internally, and both are great candidates. One candidate who has been discussed and immediately dismissed is the Great Muta. The company respects his line of work, but they will not induct him while he is working with TNA.

With WWE setting up a ladder match at Wrestlemania for the Intercontinental Championship, an obvious candidate to join the other contestants is none other than Kofi Kingston. After all, he excels in environments like these. It would be a move that the audience would appreciate. Unfortunately, though, management is not interested in his addition. The feeling backstage is that Kingston should only be viewed as a tag team wrestler now.

Lisa Marie Varon is now a candidate to be signed by the promotion, and she brings along a huge fan base. She worked as Victoria in WWE and Tara in TNA. The veteran performer also recently moved to Los Angeles after putting her highly successful restaurant in Chicago up for sale.

For much of the past year now, WWE knew that they wanted Seth Rollins to have a spot on the Wrestlemania card. They simply did not know who he was going to work with. Management seems to have found a candidate in Randy Orton. While the match should be high profile, the feeling backstage is that this is simply a filler feud for Rollins. The company is simply killing time with him before they figure out when to pull the Money in the Bank trigger.

One of the big reasons why people believe that Samoa Joe is going to be heading to New Japan for a stint is the fact that he already has a good amount of friends that are working overseas. The belief is that he would be a perfect candidate to join the red hot Bullet Club stable. His character already has quite the history with AJ Styles, and the move would give him an immediate connection with the audience a good story line to work with.

Inducting Kevin Nash

After weeks of rumors, it now appears that WWE has decided to go ahead with the induction of Kevin Nash into their hall of fame. The ceremony will take place during Wrestlemania weekend. While there are a good amount of candidates to give the induction speech, it appears that management has opted to go with Shawn Michaels, as they want to promote the fact that the later was very instrumental in helping the former become a star in wrestling.
