Randy Orton
Management dedicates a lot of their creativity to events such as Royal Rumble 2015. Luke Harper
Every year, WWE utilizes a segment in the big battle royal to put over performers by having them dominate the competition. Luke Harper is currently penciled in as a recipient of that push at Royal Rumble 2015. The plan right now is to get fans to start embracing him as a singles performer before giving him the big credibility boost at the Rumble.

Rob Van Dam
Since WWE is expanding the big battle royal to include 40 contestants instead of the typical 30, rumors have surfaced left and right about potential returns at Royal Rumble 2015. Rob Van Dam is among the list of candidates to appear in the match that night. There is a very good chance that he could do a one night only thing and wait until later in the year to make a longer return.
October 9, 2014
Brock Lesnar
Since he is not scheduled to win the big battle royal, it looks like WWE wants to utilize John Cena in the main title match at Royal Rumble 2015 instead. A rematch between Cena and Brock Lesnar is now scheduled to take place at the pay per view. Management knows that they do not have a lot of credible opponents for the former UFC champion, so they are going back to the Cena well once again.
October 9, 2014
Alexander Rusev
At one point in time, WWE wanted to rebuild Big Show into a main event performer, so that he can be fed to Brock Lesnar on a pay per view. There was talk of them working a title match at Royal Rumble 2015. However, it now appears that management is shying away from that idea. Instead, Show will more than likely put over Alexander Rusev, who is rapidly rising into the main event scene.
October 9, 2014
Paul Heyman
Even though he is one of the most popular and entertaining performers, WWE is planning on keeping Paul Heyman off of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown until at least January. The belief is that management does not want to draw attention to the fact that their world heavyweight champion is not around for television shows. Lesnar and Heyman should be back in time to promote Royal Rumble 2015.
October 9, 2014
Brie Bella
Brie Bella recently gave WWE fans some hope when she revealed that Daniel Bryan was no longer going to need a second surgery to repair his neck injury. Many were expecting him to return by January, which happens to be the month that Royal Rumble 2015 takes place. Daniel Bryan
With his health being quite the uncertainty at this point in time, there are all sorts of rumors floating around about the return of Daniel Bryan. August 2, 2014
Roman Reigns
While it's several months away and a lot can change during that time, rumors are floating around that Roman Reigns is being penciled in to win Royal Rumble 2015. WWE really wants him to be a main event performer, and being the last man standing in the 30 man battle royal just might be the way to make that happen. The move would put him on track to headline Wrestlemania 31.
July 5, 2014
Undertaker
While a lot of rumors are suggesting that he is going to retire, those backstage in WWE believe that there is still a possibility that we will get another Undertaker return in the near future. Some feel that he will want to have his last match be a victory at one of the other pay per view events, such as Summerslam 2014 or Royal Rumble 2015.

Byron Saxton
Now that Justin Roberts has been given a release by WWE, fans are speculating as to who will replace him as the announcer for Monday Night Raw. Lilian Garcia is said to be ruled out because the Smackdown schedule works much better for her pursuit of music. Byron Saxton is just the backup for now. Brandi Rhodes and JoJo Offerman are the two primary candidates for the role.

Byron Saxton
Despite spending a couple of years as a developmental wrestler, Byron Saxton is not expected to wrestle at all for WWE. The company plans on only using him as an on screen and backstage asset. Many compare his situation to that of Brad Maddox, another trained in ring performer who is only being utilized in a speaking role.
March 3, 2014
Byron Saxton

In addition to working out on a daily basis, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion has been doing a lot of hunting up in Canada recently. No word yet on when his official return to WWE is, but many are expecting it to be in time for Royal Rumble 2015.
October 16, 2014
Vince McMahon
Back in 2011, WWE needed a marketing gimmick for the Royal Rumble, so the company decided to add another ten competitors and brand the event as being the biggest ever. Vince McMahon and company have decided to go with a 40 man battle royal this time around, and a lot of surprise appearances are expected.

Daniel Bryan
While a lot of fans are under the impression that his return to WWE is a certainty, Daniel Bryan is not nearly as confident. He understands his body well enough, and he has spoken with quite a few doctors on the matter. Bryan is leaving open the possibility that he may never wrestle again because of the injured neck. The former world heavyweight champion has dismissed rumors that he will be back by Royal Rumble 2015.

Jake Roberts

Royal Rumble 2014 is barely in the books now, but Jake Roberts, who publicly campaigned for a spot in the big match, has revealed that he has started training for Royal Rumble 2015. The WWE legend feels that it would provide some closure to be able to work one final match for the company.

January 28, 2014
Byron Saxton
Some WWE fans noticed a familiar face on Monday Night Raw this week. It was developmental wrestler Byron Saxton doing backstage interviews on the episode. A lot of people recognize him from his stint in the WWE version of ECW. He had been sent back down to WWE NXT for a while since management had nothing for him to do.
February 12, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
Some buzz was created earlier this week when it was discovered that Jeff Jarrett was meeting with ROH officials. Reports have now surfaced that the two sides discussed doing talent exchanges for various shows. Jarrett also wanted Ring of Honor to loosen up their contractual clause that prevents their performers from appearing on television and pay per view for other promotions, as he is interested in utilizing ROH performers on that big New Japan pay per view in January.
October 23, 2014
Rey Mysterio
As many fans already know, Rey Mysterio is still under contract to WWE, which means that he cannot work elsewhere during the duration of the deal. The masked superstar wants to return to Mexico and wrestle for AAA. Many were under the belief that he was going to wait for his current deal with WWE to expire, but there are now talks that the company could extend his deal again next year and force him to remain on the sidelines.
October 22, 2014
Adam Pearce
Rumors were floating around that Nick Dinsmore was given a release by WWE because of backstage politics as opposed to budget cost. Those rumors are gaining steam right now because the company is reportedly interested in hiring Adam Pearce as his replacement. The former NWA champion has been spotted at the performance center a couple of times already this month.
October 21, 2014
Bully Ray
Now that their contracts with TNA have officially expired, there has been some contact between Team 3D and WWE. The two sides are discussing a potential return to the company. The move may come as a shock to certain fans because there was a widespread belief that Bully Ray and Devon were never going to be able to work in WWE ever again due to backstage heat. That apparently is not the case.
October 17, 2014
Rey Mysterio
While the backstage heat between the two sides remains at a pretty high level, it does not appear that WWE will be giving a release to Rey Mysterio any time soon. Management has started to accept that the former world heavyweight champion will not be returning to work anytime soon, but they will not let him out of his contract to help another promotion out. WWE would rather just keep him on the sidelines for the time being, especially since Mysterio has reportedly stopped cashing in their checks.
October 15, 2014
Kurt Angle
Earlier in the week, it was reported that WWE had offered Kurt Angle a full time contract, which he turned down because he wanted a part time deal to preserve his body and health. There are speculations floating around that Triple H only made that offer because he knew that Angle would reject it. Some are still under the belief that HHH wants nothing to do with Angle and is attempting to block his return to the company.
October 15, 2014
Alexander Rusev
One of the ideas being floated around right now has Mark Henry doing his rumored heel turn at Hell in a Cell 2014. WWE has planted the seeds by having Henry helping Big Show out in his feud against Alexander Rusev and Lana. The belief is that management wants to use the feud to put Rusev closer to the main event scene, while protecting Big Show, which can be done if Henry turns and costs him the match at the pay per view.
October 15, 2014
Adrian Neville
WWE officials are a lot more observant than fans think that they are. The company routinely monitors the audience reaction to certain performers. As of late, management has noticed that the ovations that Adrian Neville has been receiving when working with the main roster has been superb. On some nights, he gets more of a reaction than the guys that have been on television regularly.
October 15, 2014
Dean Ambrose
WWE is promoting Hell in a Cell 2014 as having a double main event, and the reason behind that is simple. They do not believe that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are proven draws yet, even with the big steel structure and a highly entertaining feud behind them. Thus, the reliance on John Cena and Randy Orton, two guys that the company has relied on for years now, to help sell the pay per view.
October 14, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
While there has not been a ton of details revealed from the deal between New Japan Pro Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling, there are reports that have surfaced that Jeff Jarrett is looking to distribute content from the overseas promotion across the United States. His ability to do that would greatly increase if he were able to secure a national television deal, which he is rumored to have been working on over the past couple of months.
October 14, 2014
Mike Tenay
Another person that could be walking away from TNA in the near future is Mike Tenay, their longtime play by play commentator. His contract with the company expires in January, so he is expected to work until then. Many within the industry believe that a new television deal will be finalized and announced before then, so a contract extension for Tenay would not be out of the question.
October 14, 2014
Samoa Joe
Reports have surfaced that Samoa Joe and TNA parted ways after Bound For Glory 2014 once the contract between the two sides expired. As many already know, the company has been allowing top level performers to walk away because they simply do not want to make big financial commitments until a new television deal is secured. The belief is that Joe could be brought back on board once a new home on television has been found.
October 14, 2014
Kurt Angle
While reports have surfaced that Kurt Angle has indeed been in negotiation with WWE on his final contract in the business, the former world heavyweight champion has not ruled out a potential return to TNA because the company is more than willing to give him the part time deal that he prefers. Angle has publicly stated that this will be his final contract as a wrestler, and he wants to try to gain more ground in Hollywood.
October 14, 2014
Bully Ray
During Bound For Glory 2014, Bully Ray and Devon specifically mentioned the Bullet Club, a stable in New Japan. That is of interest because the pay per view was promoted by Great Muta and Wrestle-1. This has led to speculation that Team 3D may end up signing with Jeff Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling because the company has a partnership with New Japan.
October 12, 2014
Alexander Rusev
A lot of speculation has arisen ever since Rock made a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw and worked a segment with Alexander Rusev and Lana. Many are under the impression that a match between the two could take place at Wrestlemania 31. However, WWE does not appear to be heading in that direction. Rusev is still penciled in for a high profile match against John Cena at the pay per view.
October 12, 2014
Mick Foley
With the amount of punishment that his body went through during his long professional wrestling career, Mick Foley understandably prefers that his children not follow his footsteps. However, that is exactly what is happening. Noelle Foley is reportedly training to become an in ring performer. The 20 year old is said to be training somewhere in the Long Island area.
October 12, 2014
Hulk Hogan
Fans celebrated in glee recently when it appeared that Steve Austin was going to be making a return to WWE. However, there should be some caution mixed in with that excitement. Austin has long stated that he would only do it if the deal was right. Management seems to be focused on Sting and Hulk Hogan at the moment, so negotiations with Austin have not made any progress.
October 11, 2014
Alexander Rusev
While he does not have a story line or a feud on Monday Night Raw, Bray Wyatt has been working against Big Show, most recently during the brief tour of Malaysia. That has led to speculations that the two of them could be bringing that feud to television soon. However, Big Show is expected to put over Alexander Rusev, which would bring him down a notch. Management is concerned about putting Wyatt against mid card performers after moving him all the way up to John Cena.
October 11, 2014
Christian
As many of you already know, Edge recently made a cameo appearance via video on Monday Night Raw to promote the Smackdown anniversary. Word going around is that Christian played a heavy part in recruiting and convince Edge to make the appearance. Since retiring from the ring, Edge has distanced himself greatly from WWE, only making a couple of appearances.
October 11, 2014
Dixie Carter
While there are natural concerns over the company stability, a lot of the wrestlers are rumored to feel a bit relieved due to the fact that Dixie Carter and her staff are continuing to expand TNA into other countries. Impact Wrestling can now be seen in 125 countries, and there are talks that Carter is hoping to increase that number still. The focal point right now for expansion is on Asia.
