When asked recently about why he was released from the company, Joey Ryan shared some interesting details about his relationship with TNA. He stated that the company released him because they were losing money when they started expanding their tour business. Ryan reiterated that he was not released because he did something wrong. Joey also states that he has a good relationship with management, so a return is possible.

In what seems to be an attempt to stay on good terms with the company in case he ever wants to do business with them again some day, Brutus Magnus has decided to clear the air on rumors about him leaving TNA. He stated that he never left them for GFW, as the promotion being launched by Jeff Jarrett is not in a position to offer anyone a long term contract. Magnus stated that he simply left the company because there wasn't enough money.

Many people have long wondered what Hulk Hogan was like backstage. Robbie E shed a little light on that during a recent interview. The TNA star stated that he enjoyed working with the WWE legend when the two of them were in the same company. Robbie stated that Hogan was very easy to get along with. Plus, Hogan was very knowledgeable about the business so Robbie was able to receive some sound advice.

Once again, Kurt Angle has reiterated to the media that his upcoming tour of England with TNA will be his final one for the time being. The former world heavyweight champion still plans on taking time away from professional wrestling to pursue other business ventures. In a rather interesting tidbit, Angle stated that if it were up to him, AJ Styles would be his opponent on the final tour of the United Kingdom.

Reports have surfaced that those meetings are in regards to finding a new television network for Impact Wrestling. WGN has sprung up as a leading candidate to be the new host. The two sides have negotiated a deal before.

Jarrett has announced that he was making a triumphant return to the industry. However, he has not provided details on which promotion it will be with. Jarrett is such a trusted figure in the business that Vince McMahon once tapped him as a replacement in case McMahon was sent to jail.

Since the company has changed up their business model and is touring less frequently, the man in charge of those live events has decided to leave TNA. Mike Krewson is no longer the Director of Touring. Rumor has it that he has accepted a general manager job with Baylor University. Dixie Carter has chosen Bob Ryder as his replacement. Ryder is currently working with the talent relations department in TNA.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Lucha Underground was going to stay in business and was going to start taping their second season soon. It will be without one of their more recognizable faces, however. Shawn Hernandez has officially received the release from his contract that he had been seeking for several months now. The entire ordeal cost him his job with TNA when that company found out he was still under contract to LU.
