Throughout the history of the business, performers would police themselves backstage by holding a wrestlers court. This recently happened in ROH, where a referee was accused of doing something minor. He was cleared of the charges. When Joe Koff found out about the incident, he informed his wrestlers to never do it again. This is another case of a wrestling promotion being ran by someone without a wrestling background.

A lot of professional wrestling fans are under the assumption that AJ Styles hates TNA because he refuses to do business with them again. However, when asked about why he turned down the offer to make a brief return and be inducted into the hall of fame, Styles stated that the decision had nothing with how he feels towards the company. There appears to be a chance that ROH might not be on Destination America for a very long period of time. The latest news from this developmental is that Joe Koff was only given a six month contract from the channel. Network executives are only doing this on a trial basis because they are unsure if Ring of Honor is good enough of a brand to draw in advertisers and sponsors. The promotion is more valuable to fans than it is to other businesses.

Since he is making his way up the industry, Moose has generated a good amount of attention from the bigger promotions in the business. He has been given a nice push by ROH. Former WWE announcer Matt Striker is rumored to be the producer and director for the promotion. Lisa Marie Varon could be the featured star.

While he has been given a really solid push over the last year, there is still a chance that Jay Lethal could opt to leave for GFW when the opportunity arises. He maintains a good business relationship with Jeff Jarrett, who may end up receiving a better television deal for his promotion than the one that Ring of Honor has. It is being said that Lethal would love to perform for a much bigger audience. ROH still is not shown in every state.

The move would help resolve a lot of things, and it would help them advance to a point in business that they have never been before. However, there is a major obstacle standing in the way of Joe Koff. The network is concerned about being associated with a scripted sport because they want to emphasize real sports.

When word initially broke out that Jimmy Jacobs was signing with WWE, the belief was that he would be doing so as an in ring performer. That apparently is not the case at all. Reports have now surfaced that Jacobs will be joining the creative department in an unannounced role. The former ROH star has long been regarded within the industry as someone that gets the business and has a lot of creativity, so the move makes a lot of sense.
