It looks like the rumors about Layla El were true after all. She announced her retirement from WWE through the company's official website. She did an interview where she thanked everyone for the opportunity and stated that she enjoyed her nine years in the business. Layla wants to settle down, get married and start the next chapter in her life.

Since the company still feels that he can be a huge part of their future, there are plans in the works for Drew Galloway to receive a nice push within the next year. Rumors have it that he is being built up as a world heavyweight championship challenger for Ethan Carter, who is set to be given quite the lengthy push himself. A battle between the two could be very good for business.
