A rather interesting development is taking place in WWE, and it might leave Devon out in the cold. Management is reportedly looking into the idea of splitting up the Dudley Boyz once again because they want to see if the Bully Ray character, which held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, would do well in World Wrestling Entertainment. The split could happen very soon, maybe even the Royal Rumble.

As two of the smarter businessmen in the industry, Bully Ray and Devon recently took the opportunity to publicly campaign for a return to WWE during an interview with Sports Illustrated. Team 3D stated that they were in the best shape of their lives, and that they would provide quite a bit of credibility to the tag team division in World Wrestling Entertainment.

When Bully Ray left TNA because the two sides could not come to an agreement on a new contract, he attempted to go back to WWE, making a surprise appearance as a mystery entrant in the Royal Rumble in January. However, he a full time deal was never given to him, so he opted to to make a quick return to the company that made him a world heavyweight champion for the very first time in his career. A full time return is still a possibility.

During a recent interview, Devon revealed the reason why he and Bully Ray decided to open up their wrestling school about a decade ago. He stated that the two of them had gone to a school after leaving WWE and before joining TNA so that they could continue to work out. The students there complained repeatedly to the former ECW stars that they were not really learning anything. Thus, the decision was made to properly teach wrestlers.

While many are wondering why he is taking so long to sign a deal with WWE or TNA, Bully Ray is actually said to be perfectly content with doing what he does now. He spends a lot of time with Devon in training new performers. It is said that the two of them are very passionate about teaching and giving back to the industry. Plus, whenever they feel the itch to get back into the ring, they have plenty of options with eager promoters.

As many of you already know, WWE has a big developmental program that seeks out new performers constantly. Not everyone makes it through the doors, though. For those that are not quite ready for the developmental program, the front office has been suggesting that they attend the school ran by Bully Ray and Brother Devon as a way to get up to par. The former tag team champions are said to be top level trainers.
