In exchange, the company will continue to pay him, even though he has been given a release. That has led fans to speculate as to how much money he will be given. The belief is that it will not be the full amount of the contract, as he will not be paid for working live events.

Bo Dallas
While management has seemingly given up on the Bo Dallas push, they do not appear to be in a rush to give him a release just yet. The belief is that WWE will keep him around for the time being and utilize him as a roster filler. Dallas is considered a good employee who shows up to work and does not cause trouble backstage. Vince McMahon
Apparently, there is a deal in place where the wrestlers are supposed to receive a portion of the money made from the WWE Network. No word yet on how big of a percentage that Vince McMahon is giving out. Unfortunately for the performers, though, no money is being paid out right now because the online service is losing a ton of money and forcing the company to release employees left and right.
August 15, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Some further information is being leaked about the situation that caused Alberto Del Rio to be given a release by WWE. Cody Barbierri, the employee that was allegedly slapped by Del Rio, apparently has a history of saying derogatory things towards the wrestlers. Reports are surfacing that he has gotten away with things in the past because he is backed by Stephanie McMahon. This would explain why a good amount of wrestlers backed Del Rio when he left the company.

TNA is willing to sign the lower level performers right now since the deals are not as expensive.
August 22, 2014
AJ Styles
While the negotiation continues between the two sides, the belief is that Bully Ray and TNA are far apart on the financial terms. Management wants to keep their former world heavyweight champion around because he is quite the asset to the roster. However, they are limited in what they can pay him, much like how they had to let AJ Styles leave. Since neither side is willing to budge, it looks like the relationship could be over soon.
August 21, 2014

"No, I don't think it's caused a big hole at all. He split, that's it, he's gone. He was on TV with TNA probably more than he should have been, and he was talking up a lot of prime real estate where younger guys could have been. If I was writing a show, Hulk would have been in one story and he would be on the show one time, so we can feature him, give the people their Babe Ruth and that's it." - Bully Ray discusses Hulk Hogan during his interview with Chris Jericho
June 9, 2014
Dixie Carter
Rumors are heavily floating around right now that TNA and House of Hardcore are working together. When Tommy Dreamer cut what seemed to be a shoot interview about Dixie Carter pulling Bully Ray from his show, some felt that it was out of character for Dreamer to do that, as he is viewed as one of the more respectful guys in the industry. Plus, Dreamer himself has a working relationship with TNA already, so it would not be hard to fathom that he would align his company with Carter.
