If roster additions are any indication of financial progress, then it looks like things are looking up for TNA. The company has reportedly reached terms on a new contract to bring Bully Ray back into the company. The former world heavyweight champion recently made an appearance as a special guest referee, but negotiations at the time had not been finalized.

When Bully Ray left TNA because the two sides could not come to an agreement on a new contract, he attempted to go back to WWE, making a surprise appearance as a mystery entrant in the Royal Rumble in January. However, he a full time deal was never given to him, so he opted to to make a quick return to the company that made him a world heavyweight champion for the very first time in his career. A full time return is still a possibility.

Rumors have surfaced that Velvet Sky could be making her return to TNA very soon. Apparently, the two sides have patched things up. When her contract expired in January, management opted to let her go. Velvet was very disappointed and publicly voiced her opinion on the matter, citing that she was hoping for more loyalty from the company. There are also talks that her real life boyfriend Bully Ray could be making a return as well.

She has been telling people how disappointed she was that management did not show her more loyalty. Vince Russo even went on a long tirade about the promotion when he interviewed Velvet recently. A potential return is possible after she spends some time on the indies with Bully Ray.

When asked about what he would like to do if WWE were to offer him a permanent contract to return, Bully Ray was a bit more lenient than before. In the past, he stated that he only wanted to do a singles run. However, he recently mentioned that he would have no problems reforming his tag team with Devon. The belief is that he is trying to show management that he can be a team player, so that the company will offer him a contract.

The tag team division in TNA should be more than solid for the next year, as the company has just announced that they have signed new contracts with the American Wolves. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are expected to be the centerpiece of the division. Management was really impressed with their performance over the last year, and they rewarded them with memorable feuds against Bully Ray, Devon, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy.

Near the top of their priority list is Bully Ray. The company reportedly wants him back because they feel that he is one of the better performers in the industry.
