Through social media, Brutus Magnus revealed that he tore his biceps and will be needing a couple of months of rehabilitation. The injury was suffered while he was doing a tour of Mexico for Konnan. Magnus did not give a timetable for his return but the belief is that Global Force Wrestling will need a new champion.

During a recent interview, Brutus Magnus revealed that he approached management about running smaller venues in England on the next tour. He stated that if they were to target arenas that held 2,000 to 3,000 fans instead of always going for 10,000 capacity venues, they would be tapping into a really good market. Magnus noted that there are 75 million people in the United Kingdom, and not all of them live in the bigger cities.
