In what seems to be an attempt to stay on good terms with the company in case he ever wants to do business with them again some day, Brutus Magnus has decided to clear the air on rumors about him leaving TNA. He stated that he never left them for GFW, as the promotion being launched by Jeff Jarrett is not in a position to offer anyone a long term contract. Magnus stated that he simply left the company because there wasn't enough money.

Since her husband, Brutus Magnus, has been sidelined with a serious injury, there are rumors that Mickie James could be working more dates on the independent wrestling circuit. Magnus is not going to be able to wrestle for several months. The belief is that Mickie might be more willing to sign a short term deal with WWE to work while her husband is recovering. No word yet on if the company has expressed interest.
