Rumors are floating around that Randy Orton suffered a serious injury during the handicap street fight tag team match on Monday Night Raw. It took place early in the match when Dean Ambrose dove out of the ring and on to the heels. Orton reportedly told the trainer that the ruptured disc in his back was messed up. No word yet on whether or not he can work Hell in a Cell 2014, but as a precaution, WWE kept Orton from working Smackdown this week.

There were some speculations from online wrestling fans that Bray Wyatt had some sort of injury since he has not been utilized much on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown as much recently. However, the truth is that he is just fine. Wyatt continues to work matches on a regular basis during WWE live events. Management seems to be purposely not using him much on television.

Some crazy rumors are floating around right now about Nikki Bella and Brie Bella competing in a Hell in a Cell match at Hell in a Cell 2014. WWE is extremely unlikely to do this because they do want their female performers in gimmick matches that might cause severe injury, but the rumors have some merit because it was revealed by an insider who has accurately broken the news on a couple of things in the past.

Wade Barrett hasn't been on television in quite some time now because he suffered a shoulder injury during a match with Jack Swagger. He was recently up in Toronto, so he sought the help of Trish Stratus, a former WWE diva who now runs a successful yoga business. Barrett stated that the workout session with Trish helped his shoulder feel a bit better.

By now, a lot of people are aware that Santino Marella is in the process of trying to make a comeback to professional wrestling after being forced to retire due to a severe neck injury. The former Intercontinental Champion has now revealed that he hopes to be able to make a return to WWE in about six months. The belief is that the door is open for him to come back since management views his comedic routine as an asset.

Through his Twitter account, Ryback revealed to fans that it has now been 18 days since his surgery, and he has been recovering extremely well from his still unknown injury, which is rumored to involve his groin. He should be making a return to WWE very soon, as he is now pain free. He might not be rushed back, though, as management really doesn't have a story ready for him.

Many were expecting him to return by January, which happens to be the month that Royal Rumble 2015 takes place. However, reports are now surfacing that WWE is trying to see if Bryan can make his return at Survivor Series 2014 instead.

During a media interview to promote Total Divas, Brie Bella revealed that Daniel Bryan would not be needing the second surgery that has long been rumored to repair his neck injury. She stated that her husband was gaining the strength back in his right arm and could be back as soon as three months, which would enable WWE to have him make a surprise return at Royal Rumble 2015.

When word broke that Ryback was injured, there were some reports of skepticism from WWE officials that there really was no injury. However, the legitimacy of his health has been proven, as Ryback has posted a video of himself in the hospital. He clearly did go under the knife. It is being said that Ryback has worked with strained groins and hernias for the last year.

Considering the amount of pain that he withstood for the sake of entertaining fans over the years, it is a bit surprising that Mick Foley did not spend more time on the sidelines. He has retired from WWE now, but an injury is preventing him from working. Back issues have prompted the former world heavyweight champion to cancel an upcoming appearance in Denver. No word yet on whether or not it will be rescheduled.

Since Ryback is on the shelf for a couple of weeks, it will be interesting to see what WWE does with Curtis Axel. There were already plans being discussed a couple of weeks ago to split up the tag team, so it should come as no surprise if management opted to use the injury as an excuse to accelerate those plans. WWE no longer believes that Axel is worthy of being a top level guy, but they do believe he can still be a useful member of the roster.

Patience isn't always a virtue in WWE. Wade Barrett was initially told by doctors that he would not be able to make his return to the ring until December. However, the company has a big tour of Europe in November. Since Barrett is viewed as a bit of a draw on that continent, WWE has started advertising his appearances. The belief is that Barrett will rush back from the injury to work those shows.

While it appears that he is still under contract to WWE, it does not seem like the company is going to be bringing Rey Mysterio back to television, even after his hand injury heals. The two sides are greatly at odds right now, and it seems like management is more concerned about preventing him from going to another company at this point. Rumors are floating around right now that WWE officials were not too pleased with the performance that Alexander Rusev put on at Summerslam 2014 in his flag match against Jack Swagger. His selling of an ankle injury was sub par, and the manner in which he sold it was not very fitting of his character. WWE really wants him in the main event scene, so they're paying much more attention to his matches than usual.

He is expected to miss a couple of months of action because of the surgery. Benjamin was sidelined earlier in the year when he had surgery on his elbow, but he recovered much quicker than expected from that injury.

While working a tag team match with Eddie Edwards at a TNA live event in Pennsylvania, Davey Richards suffered a serious leg injury. Upon being rushed to the hospital, it was discovered that he has a broken fibula. Richards is expected to be out of action for approximately 6 weeks, which means that TNA will need to figure out what they want to do with the tag team titles.

In an expected move, CBS is banning Robbie E from making appearances on Impact Wrestling when the next season of Amazing Race airs. It's a stipulation that a lot of producers put into the contracts, so that other television shows cannot capitalize on their assets. The belief is that TNA Knockout Brooke Tessmacher, who also will be appearing on the show, will not be allowed on Impact Wrestling, either.

In a sign that the financial situation in TNA is not as bad as many make it out to be, the company has signed new deals with three of their performers. Sam Shaw and Brooke Tessmacher are signed to new multiple year contracts, while international star Seiya Sanada has agreed to a one year deal. There were a lot of concerns about the company when they released several performers, so much of that should be alleviated now that they are signing new deals with their workers.

The TNA Knockouts website has undergone a bit of a makeover, with the company making some modifications to the layout and adding some new performers. A quick glance at the site shows that TNA now has nine Knockouts on the roster. Some new pictures of ODB, Christy Hemme, Velvet Sky, Taryn Terrell, Gail Kim, Santana Garrett, Angelina Love, Madison Rayne and Brooke Tessmacher have been uploaded.

TNA stars Robbie E and Brooke Tessmacher are among the eleven teams that will be competing in a series of challenges around the world. It is being said that those within TNA are rooting heavily for the real life couple, as it would bring a good amount of exposure to the company.

It looks like some of the confusion surrounding Brooke Tessmacher and her status with TNA is being cleared up. The Knockout is still under contract to the company, and many backstage believe that she will be brought back to Impact Wrestling soon. Brooke is also currently working on obtaining her real estate license, which is what Nikki Bella is also doing.

Since he is one of their more underrated performers, TNA has managed to sign Robbie E to a long term contract extension. Some within the company view that he can be a star down the line, especially since he is still just 30 years of age. There were some questions as to whether or not Robbie was going to stay with the company since the status of his girlfriend Brooke Tessmacher has been up in the air.
