In order to beat WWE, Eric Bischoff knew that he had to spend a lot of money. After getting good results from Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage, the WCW vice president went after Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Since Nash didn't want to leave Vince McMahon, Bischoff had to give him a sweet deal that WWE could not match. That deal ended up being a 3 year deal, worth $3.6 million.
