However, the feeling backstage is that Del Rio is assured a spot at Wrestlemania 30 to draw in the Spanish media.

Sin Cara is going to be making his return to the wrestling ring soon, but it will not be for WWE. The masked star is set to work a show on February 1, 2014 down in Mexico, which is a further sign that a contract extension with WWE is not in the works.
While the initial plans had him working a match against Sin Cara, WWE may have changed their mind on how to use Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania 30. There are those within the company that are now leaning towards him working a match against Alberto Del Rio with his mask on the line.
Brodus Clay vowed to earn himself a spot on the main Wrestlemania 30 card this year, and he even managed to convince WWE officials to turn him heel and give him a character makeover. However, as of right now, it does not appear that he will be picking up enough momentum to earn that coveted spot.

"Hope the Brodus Clay creative direction change works. Good guy, truly a fan of the business and who has the tools, or so I feel, to be a "monster heel. Brodus was one of my favorite guys to brainstorm with back in the FCW days."
The current plan in WWE is to have Naomi and Cameron leaving Brodus Clay, who has now turned heel, and Tensai to join Xavier Woods and R Truth. The segment on Monday Night Raw this week was designed to further that story line.
Initially, the feud was designed to give the spotlight to newcomer Xavier Woods, but it now appears that WWE has shifted the attentiont to Brodus Clay and his impending heel turn instead. That's why they went with that segment on TLC last night.
After Tensai, Naomi and Cameron abandoned him during his match, Brodus Clay, who exhibited heel tendencies throughout the match at TLC, was defeated via pin fall by R Truth, who nailed his opponent with a kick to the face.
While management is trying to elevate Sin Cara, WWE opted not to include his match and victory against Alberto Del Rio on the Hulu broadcast of Monday Night Raw, leading some to wonder just how serious they are about this push.
