It has been known for several weeks now that Brock Lesnar was not going to be working Elimination Chamber 2014, but speculations arose that the plans might have changed because of the story line on Monday Night Raw. As of right now, Lesnar is still not scheduled for the event, despite it being held near his home town.
To add even further interest in the story line, Paul Heyman has revealed that he has paid the $10,000 fine for Brock Lesnar. He is selling the Wrestlemania 30 match by letting people know that his client will be allowed to be as brutal as he wishes to be.
Brock Lesnar has been fined $10,000 by WWE. While there are a few people who believe this to be a real thing, it is simply a story line that the company is working, in order to sell the brutality that the former UFC champion has been unleashing as of late.
Aside from being utilized to help promote Brock Lesnar, who works a limited schedule, there does not appear to be much of a story line for Paul Heyman backstage. After being split apart from Curtis Axel and Ryback, management hasn't shown an interest in adding new guys for the former ECW owner to work with.
To further sell the story line and the beating, WWE.com has posted an article about how Mark Henry has bruised ribs after being attacked by Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw this week. Henry is actually fine and the two are still scheduled for a match.
WWE is tossing around ideas on a potential new client for Paul Heyman, so that he does not have to be kept off of television until Brock Lesnar is ready to return.
