On June 22, 2015, WWE will be hosting Monday Night Raw in Indianapolis. The event has now become something that wrestling fans should not miss out on. Bankers Life Fieldhouse took to social media to announce that Brock Lesnar will be making his return to Monday Night Raw that evening. It appears that the comeback was recently negotiated and agreed upon. In the story line, Lesnar is still serving his suspension for attacking the commentators.

A very interesting story was told by Skylar Astin during a podcast interview this week. He stated that when he and his brother attended a UFC event back in February, there was an incident with Brock Lesnar. Astin stated that his brother attempted to talk to Lesnar and try to convince him to return to WWE. Lesnar was then said to have lashed out, using a lot of profanity. The former heavyweight champion has yet to respond to the allegations.

Initially, Paul Heyman was supposed to make his return before Brock Lesnar by working segments with Michael Cole about the story line lawsuit that is taking place. Lots of ideas were being discussed backstage on how to make that happen. However, it appears that WWE could not decide on a good one, as it is now being reported that Heyman is not scheduled to make his return to television until July. That is when Lesnar is scheduled to be back.

While a lot of people were under the impression that Brock Lesnar was going to scratch the itch and make a return to MMA, Dana White revealed that he was not very close at all to being able to sign his former world heavyweight champion to a contract. White stated that Lesnar was 38 years old, and the deal that WWE offered to him was simply too lucrative and favorable to resist. White still continues to have nothing but positive things to say about Lesnar.

There was actually a good amount of discussion throughout the afternoon about whether or not Michael Cole would be doing commentary on Monday Night Raw. Since people backstage were so divided, the decision was made to keep him off of television this week, in order to sell how brutal the beating from Brock Lesnar was. Many in WWE felt that it would be downplaying his impact if Cole were to be able to return to television so soon.

That was the reason why Dana White was offering a huge sum of money to his former world heavyweight champion. Since the void is still there, that has caused other great draws into considering a comeback. Georges St Pierre is now thinking about coming out of retirement to return to MMA.

Brock Lesnar is finishing off his contract with WWE in a couple of weeks and has eyes on a return to mixed martial arts. If the promotion were to put the debut fight for Punk and the return fight for Lesnar on the same card, that would draw tremendous interest.

It is being said that Lesnar informed McMahon that he wanted to attend the UFC event in Las Vegas so that he could have a discussion with Dana White about returning to mixed martial arts. McMahon was against the idea, which reportedly caused Lesnar to walk out. He ended up attending the event.

The legendary Antonio Inoki has expressed interest in bringing in Lesnar to IGF promotion.
