Paul Heyman to UFC

During a recent interview, Paul Heyman revealed an interesting tidbit about the contract that Brock Lesnar signed with WWE earlier in the week. He stated had the deal not been done, he would have left the company along with Lesnar. Heyman stated that his plan was to follow the heavyweight champion to UFC if he decided he wanted to continue his MMA career. Heyman also joked about following Lesnar to the NBA.

WWE signs Brock Lesnar

Sometimes in life, you just get a deal on the table that is simply too difficult to refuse. Brock Lesnar was given just that by WWE, so he decided to sign on the dotted line instead of waiting to negotiate a contract with UFC and Bellator. The former world heavyweight champion announced on ESPN that his days in MMA are behind him now. His legacy in that sport is completed. He will finish off his career as a professional wrestler now.

Rey Mysterio schedule

There are those within WWE that feel that management made a big mistake by being too greedy with Rey Mysterio. Some feel that he should have been utilized as a special attraction in the same manner in which the company is doing with Sting, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar. He is using his massive drawing power in Mexico to command a very easy schedule, where he will only wrestle a handful of times per year.

Lesnar helping Punk

While they might have been portrayed enemies inside of a professional wrestling ring by WWE, the relationship between CM Punk and Brock Lesnar is much more cordial outside of it. During a recent interview, Punk revealed that Lesnar contacted him when he announced that he had signed a contract to fight for UFC. Lesnar offered to help Punk in anyway he can. The belief is that Lesnar will still be heading back to the world of MMA in a couple of months.

Brock Lesnar contract

Apparently, some of the biggest stars in MMA are trying their best to help put more money into Brock Lesnar's pockets by being idiots. Jon Jones was caught with cocaine in his system not too long ago. This week, Anderson Silva fails a test for steroids. His opponent Nick Diaz had marijuana in his system. All this bodes well for Lesnar because UFC desperately needs a top draw. He now has more leverage in negotiations because of others.

Lashley supports Punk

At one point in time, Bobby Lashley was hoping to follow Brock Lesnar and become the next WWE performer to make the jump over to UFC. That has yet to happen and appears very unlikely right now. Of course, that does not mean that he is bitter towards others who are attempting to make the move. During a recent Give Me Sports interview, Lashley expressed his support towards CM Punk. He also thinks that he will do rather well in MMA.

Brock Lesnar returning to UFC

A lot of wrestling fans are already under the impression that Brock Lesnar is going to return to UFC as soon as his contract with WWE expires in a couple of months. The widespread speculations were fueled even further after the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, as the former world heavyweight champion looked a bit slimmer than before. The belief is that he has been cutting some weight to prepare for a return to MMA.

Brock Lesnar bidding war

There are reports floating around right now that state that there will be a bidding war between WWE, UFC and Bellator when Brock Lesnar becomes a free agent in April. While it's true that Vince McMahon definitely wants his current world heavyweight champion and one of his biggest pay per view draws to stick around, it will not be much of a competition if Lesnar decides that he wants to switch from professional wrestling back to MMA.
