Steve Austin

Austin not on Raw

Earlier in the month, WWE fans were excited to hear that Steve Austin was going to be showing up on an episode of Monday Night Raw. Even though management has been advertising his appearance, the former world heavyweight champion revealed on social media that he is not scheduled to be on television. He is only attending the event to film his podcast interview with Brock Lesnar.

The Rock

HHH vs Rock at Wrestlemania

As of right now, WWE still has The Rock penciled in for a big time match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. The reason why HHH is the opponent as opposed to someone like Brock Lesnar or even Seth Rollins is because management is really pushing to get Ronda Rousey to make an appearance at the pay per view. UFC won't allow her to wrestle, but they might be convinced to let her do an appearance at ringside.

Vince McMahon

Smackdown big matches

For the longest time now, fans have been trained to view Smackdown as a secondary show. That is going to be temporarily changing soon. The belief is that Vince McMahon is going to load up the show with big matches for the first few months after they move to the USA Network. There is a very good chance that John Cena is going to have to work on that show more frequently than normal. Undertaker and Brock Lesnar might even make appearances.

Undertaker goes home

After his brutal battle with Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, Undertaker collapsed on the way back to the locker room. He managed to make it back to the hotel without having to go to the hospital. Some felt that he was fine, but he must be pretty hurt to cancel his appearance on Monday Night Raw. The Phenom reportedly left New York this morning. He is heading back to his home in Texas.

Brock Lesnar in Cleveland

While there was some confusion earlier about whether or not Brock Lesnar was going to be making his return to WWE on Monday Night Raw this week, there has been reports that state that the former world heavyweight champion has landed in Cleveland and is headed to the arena. An appearance is likely unless management changes their mind at the last minute.

Seth Rollins

Brock Lesnar at Battleground

While his appearance on Monday Night Raw this week is now in question, one thing that fans can be certain of is that Brock Lesnar will be wrestling a match at Battleground next month. No word yet on who his opponent will be, but the most likely candidate at this point in time is Seth Rollins.

Brock Lesnar sells out

There is a reason why Brock Lesnar has been paid the big bucks by WWE and UFC over the years. He simply is a master of generating interest in a product through the use of his ridiculous athleticism and power. Shortly after the company announced that he would be doing a live appearance in Japan, the event has now been sold out. Fans in Tokyo flocked to get tickets because it is rare that they get to see Lesnar wrestle in person.

Samoa Joe vs Brock Lesnar

While making a special guest appearance during the Jim Ross one man show, Samoa Joe revealed his plans for the future. He stated that his main goal is to work a match against Brock Lesnar at the next Wrestlemania for the heavyweight championship. He stated that he doesn't care if he has to go through the developmental program in NXT to achieve that goal. Joe is hoping that WWE opts to put him on the main roster immediately, though.

Brock Lesnar schedule

While the dollar amount has increased tremendously for Brock Lesnar, his schedule will remain largely the same as the previous contract. The plan right now is for WWE to only use him a couple of times per year for the next three years. The former world heavyweight champion will only be wrestling at pay per view events, while making appearances on Monday Night Raw here and there to promote his high profile matches.

Monday Night Raw in LA

Next week, Monday Night Raw is taking place in Los Angeles. The event will be the go home episode right before Wrestlemania, and tickets are now completely sold out. Management has already secured Brock Lesnar for the evening. They are now targeting Sting and Undertaker for appearances as well because they know that the hype for Wrestlemania is not nearly at the level that they were hoping it to be.
