During her time away from WWE, a lot of fans were surprised when Awesome Kong revealed her new and slimmer physique. It gave hope that she was turning her life around after going through a bit of a dark period. As many TNA fans have noticed, she has gained back some of the weight. The belief is that she did so in order to increase her value as a wrestler. Her larger than life form is what initially drew interest from fans and promoters.

When the company decided to move him from the Monday Night Raw commentating table to Smackdown's lesser watched crew, it became clear to observant people that Jerry Lawler was being demoted by WWE. His job security, though, remains fairly high. He still has name value and a good amount of fans. Plus, management is afraid that another wresting promotion will sign Lawler and team him up with Jim Ross.

The mystery of Finn Balor and his supposed injury just got a bit cloudier. The NXT star was given time off from the latest string of live events, which led to speculations that he was indeed hurt. However, social media photos of the former New Japan star skiing have surfaced. It is highly unlikely that any performer, especially those in the developmental program, would partake in such a risky physical activity if they were nursing an injury.

Reports had it that WWE pulled him from his broadcasting duties, so that he would be free to work the battle royal as a mystery entrant. Riley was definitely backstage in Philadelphia, but management opted to remove him from the match because plans were being changed all night.

The former would have to make a heel turn in order for the feud to work out properly.
