For more than two decades now, Bret Hart has been dealing with the pain of a hand injury. It had gotten to the point recently where there was a big lump near his wrist and it made it really difficult for the former world heavyweight champion to bend his wrist. Hart had enough of the injury so he opted to have surgery to repair the damage. The WWE legend should have a full recovery soon.

When asked about the controversial segment between Charlotte and Paige recently, Bret Hart was very critical of WWE. He felt that it was wrong for the creative department to bring up the late Reid Flair. Hart said that he sympathizes with Ric Flair for being subjected to something so personal. Bret also noted that management did not do a story line whenever Jerry Lawler recently lost his brother.

Bret Hart sells home in Hawaii

It looks like Bret Hart is relocating again. After years of living in the cold climate of Canada, the former world heavyweight champion opted to move down to Hawaii to enjoy the sunshine. He purchased a home for $675,000. Hart recently sold that particular home. He made a little bit of a profit from the deal. No word yet on where Hart and his girlfriend are moving to next.

Some are asking for the Calgary International Airport to be renamed the Stu Hart International Airport in honor of the famous professional wrestling patriarch. Chris Jericho, Natalya and Bret Hart were all made aware of the petition, and they immediately jump on board in support of the idea.

The history books were changed when Kevin Nash and Scott Hall left WWE for WCW. New details from that chapter have been revealed. During a podcast interview with Steve Austin, Hall revealed that one of the reasons why Nash was willing to leave the promotion was because management sided with Bret Hart in his decision to refuse to take the power bomb finisher. Nash felt that management did not have enough respect for him.

During a recent interview, Bret Hart was asked about performers that helped him when he was moving up the ladder in WWE. He listed Roddy Piper as someone that was of tremendous help to him. More interestingly, though, he made it a point to list Jake Roberts as someone that did not bother to help, even when the opportunity presented itself for Roberts to help Hart become a star.

Hogan responds to Hart

Earlier in the week, Bret Hart sparked some controversy when he accused Hulk Hogan of being happy that Roddy Piper died. The cheap shot did more damage than normal because Hogan is still under the weight of a racial controversy. Hogan decided to respond through social media. He stated that the comments were out of line. Hogan also said that he is praying for Hart.

Hart accuses Hogan

Not being one to keep his opinions to himself, Bret Hart recently revealed his feelings towards Hulk Hogan. Hart stated that he doesn't remember Hogan being a racist when the two of them worked together, but he also feels that Hogan should stay away from WWE permanently. Hart then accuses Hogan of being happy that Roddy Piper died because it took a lot of the attention away from the racial controversy.

While much of the internet wrestling community is still emotional about the way that CM Punk walked out on WWE, Bret Hart has a different opinion. He completely agrees with how Punk did it. In fact, Hart seemed extremely proud of the former world heavyweight champion for doing that because he feels that Punk stood up for every performer backstage by willingly leaving in order to stand up for what he believes in.
