WWE wanted him to take some time off, so he was removed from the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. However, the third generation star has decided to step back into the ring. He worked the dark match main event at the Smackdown taping yesterday.

As an effort to generate some last minute excitement for Wrestlemania, WWE has decided to put their top stars into a big tag team match. In the main event of Smackdown this week, John Cena will team up with Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Mark Henry to take on Bray Wyatt, Big Show, Seth Rollins and Kane. The match could just end up in a big brawl at the end, so that they can promote the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal.

A high profile match between the two at Wrestlemania is one of the most anticipated parts of the pay per view. Fans hoping to see the Phenom on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown soon, though, are in for a disappointment. WWE currently plans on keeping him off screen until the big match.

In case you have not heard yet, there will be a special live episode of Smackdown airing tonight on the USA Network, which is promoting this as WWE week. Vince McMahon wanted to impress the network executives, so he issued the order to put more of an emphasis on tonight's show. The company opted to hold off Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose, who had been in the main event slot at TLC, from Monday Night Raw, so they can be featured on Smackdown.
