Bully Ray
TNA is really hoping to spike the ratings for Impact Wrestling this week. The company has already filmed footage of Bully Ray putting Dixie Carter through a table, and they're using that to draw in viewers. The company has even released a public statement, calling August 7th, "National Put Your Boss Through A Table Day". The belief is that TNA is trying to convince Spike to give them a new television deal.
August 4, 2014
Vince McMahon
Some more bad news for Vince McMahon. It has now been revealed that WWE has lost their television deal with NT1. The two companies have been doing business for approximately eight years now. NT1 has decided to drop WWE from their programming due to declining ratings. McMahon still has his deals with cable and satellite companies in France, but there are fears that those deals could be dropped as well.

Seth Rollins
Rumors going around is that WWE decided to do a heel turn for Seth Rollins at the last minute because they wanted to generate some hype and spike up the television ratings. If that's the case, then management is sure to be disappointed because Monday Night Raw actually lost some viewers this week. It wasn't a big loss, but many were expecting a huge increase.
June 11, 2014
Seth Rollins
Reports are surfacing now that Vince McMahon made the decision to do a heel turn with Seth Rollins on Sunday afternoon, shortly before Payback 2014. The belief is that he pulled the trigger on the move as a response to the low ratings that Monday Night Raw has received over the last couple of weeks. WWE is hoping that this provides a quick boost to the numbers.
June 5, 2014
John Cena
The belief backstage in WWE is that the company is setting things up to where there will be an episode of Total Divas that will be centered around the wedding of John Cena and Nikki Bella. No word on whether they are getting married in real life or not, but the belief is that they can spike the television ratings by doing that on Total Divas.
April 3, 2014
Daniel Bryan
In Memphis, WWE did a segment on Monday Night Raw where Triple H finally caved in and gave Daniel Bryan what he wanted at Wrestlemania 30. That was unanimously praised by fans online immediately afterwards. However, that crowd pleasing moment did not translate to the ratings, as the numbers for this week has continued to go down.
March 20, 2014
Vince McMahon
While WWE will attempt to come up with ways to change the course of the television ratings drop for Total Divas, Vince McMahon and company still have a lot of faith in the series. A good amount of fans went online last year to search for full episodes of Total Divas, which leads many in WWE to believe that some people simply did not get a chance to tune in.
March 18, 2014
Vince McMahon
Since the show has become one of the main focal points for the entire company, WWE officials are extremely disappointed that the ratings for the season premiere of Total Divas were among the lowest that they have seen for a first run episode. It failed to crack the top 100 for Sunday night. Vince McMahon could order his company to do more promotions on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown to help.
March 18, 2014
Buff Bagwell
During a recent interview, Buff Bagwell stated that nothing can save TNA at this point. He also made sure to mention that he was not upset with the company for refusing to hire him. Bagwell questions Dixie Carter and her decision to not bring in bigger names, including himself, to help increase the ratings. Interestingly enough, he stated that even the Rock could not save TNA.
March 10, 2014
Vince McMahon
An interesting stat about the WWE Network has surfaced this week. Vince McMahon decided to air WWE Main Event live on his new subscription service, yet ratings for when the episode aired on ION actually increased from the week before, leading many within the company to believe that fans might prefer to watch things on television instead.
March 7, 2014
Brock Lesnar
Despite all the hype about a potential return by CM Punk, ratings for Monday Night Raw surprisingly dropped this week. Vince McMahon was hoping that the ratings would have remained strong after an episode in which Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar and Undertaker all made a special appearance for WWE to promote both the WWE Network and Wrestlemania 30.

MVP
I've said for years even when I was with WWE that I want TNA to do well, I never saw TNA as the enemy that would be ridiculous, I love professional wrestling. Part of the reason why I chose to go to TNA was because it's not good for the fans or for the industry when there is just one conglomerate and nowhere else to go. The most prosperous and entertaining time in our business was during the Monday Night Wars you had two companies that were fairly evenly matched, both with top tier stars, and they were battling with each other for ratings. That meant everything had to be fresh, everything had to be edgy and everyone really had to rack their brain to come up with exciting storylines, all of the guys had to work really hard and there were 12 million people a week tuning into wrestling. Now there is less than half that, if you're in the wrestling industry now in the States there are only two places to go centrally, WWE or TNA. I would like to try and help facilitate, creating a situation where the WWE has to recognize TNA as a potential competitor and if you know like I do, WWE holds all the marbles then for the artists, the talent it's not good for our business, competition is good for business." - MVP discusses competition within the business

Hulk Hogan
Since Sting is not signed to a contract yet, it appears that WWE is now considering Hulk Hogan for the role of on screen general manager. The company feels that he is still a draw and believes that he can help boost ratings on Monday Night Raw. Management wants someone to counter Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
February 22, 2014
Vince McMahon
While some backstage, including Vince McMahon himself, were said to be concerned that the Olympics would affect the ratings for Monday Night Raw, WWE managed to maintain a firm grip on their viewers this week. Numbers actually went up slightly, despite NBC drawing in 22.4 million viewers to the global sports competition.
February 12, 2014
CM Punk

The expectation was that ratings for Monday Night Raw would rise this week because fans would tune in to see if CM Punk would make his return or not. However, the opposite took place. WWE saw a 12 percent drop in viewership, which has to be a bit alarming since it is the time period between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 30.

February 4, 2014
Batista

When Batista made his return on Monday Night Raw, WWE officials were said to be rather upset with the lackluster reaction from the audience. However, management then saw the television ratings for the segment and placed the blame on the Dayton crowd instead.

Vince McMahon

"It's ridiculous. I hate to sound like I'm attacking the WWE or (I) devalue what they did because Vince McMahon, say whatever you want -- and he's always smashing us and talking s—t about us, but I will tell you this, I was watching WWE I was a little kid and Vince was the commentator in WWE -- this guy has been kicking ass, breaking rules and doing things that people said he couldn't do over and over and over again. Now I'm older I don't get the whole thing, it doesn't work for me, but what he's able to do, the ratings he's able to pull and the things he's done ... And when I look at his model and he's basically taking everything in and devalued it. Saying everything we do is worth $10. That doesn't make sense to me," White said during a media luncheon on Monday. If he pulls in 2 million subscribers, he's crushing it. So it's a risky move, it's a crazy move, but Vince has been doing risky, crazy s—t since the beginning of time. If anybody can do it, maybe Vince can do it."

- UFC president Dana White on Vince McMahon and WWE Network

Brutus Magnus

Impact Wrestling drew in one of the highest ratings that the show has seen in a couple of years this week. The belief is that WWE fans tuned in this week to see what would happen during the match between Sting and Brutus Magnus, as many are hoping that the legendary performer will end up at Wrestlemania 30 this year.

Bray Wyatt
When he was feuding with John Cena, Bray Wyatt appeared to be a lock to remain in the WWE main event scene for quite some time. When that feud ended, he was able to maintain some momentum when Chris Jericho made his return to the company and feuded with Wyatt. Since there is a lack of top level talent in WWE, there are now talks that management could have Wyatt feuding with Dolph Ziggler over the Intercontinental Championship, even though it seems out of the norm for his character to chase a secondary belt.
September 10, 2014
John Cena
Those that watched Monday Night Raw last week saw John Cena being booked dominantly against Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. It has now been revealed that Vince McMahon was the person behind all of that. Someone backstage had informed McMahon that a lot of WWE fans were mocking Cena for being dominated, so McMahon has decided to build Cena back up again.
August 28, 2014
Mark Henry
After witnessing Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan being utilized as pawns in the feud between John Cena and Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw, a lot of fans voiced their complaints towards WWE. It is now being said that management actually had a different plan that evening for Wyatt. He was supposed to have been booked strong by attacking Big Show and Mark Henry during the closing segment. Instead, WWE changed their minds and decided to put Cena and Lesnar over instead.
August 27, 2014
John Cena
WWE has announced a big rematch between John Cena and Bray Wyatt for Monday Night Raw tonight. No word yet on why the match is taking place, as the two of them are not currently feuding with one another. Wyatt is still feuding with Chris Jericho, while Cena is in a program with Brock Lesnar, who once again will not be making a television appearance this week despite being the WWE champion.
August 25, 2014
John Cena
When Bray Wyatt was closing out his feud with John Cena, many wondered who WWE was going to pair him up with next. Fortunately for the company, Chris Jericho agreed to return and help keep Wyatt interesting. Their feud is about to end, so the question has popped up again. As of right now, it looks like WWE is leaning towards putting Wyatt together with Sheamus in a program.
August 22, 2014
Chris Jericho
It looks like the feud between Chris Jericho and Bray Wyatt will be continuing for another month. As of right now, WWE has the two of them penciled in for some sort of gimmick match at Night of Champions 2014. Each man has a victory on pay per view against the other, but the belief is that Jericho will be putting Wyatt over before taking off to focus on his music again.
August 19, 2014
Bray Wyatt
During a recent interview, Triple H revealed some interesting things about Bray Wyatt. He stated that WWE was on the verge of giving him a release a while back. HHH said he was able to convince management to let him work on a new character and test it out on WWE NXT. Things worked out rather well, and Wyatt was eventually promoted to the main roster.
August 7, 2014
Erick Rowan
Rumors are floating around that WWE is going to be bringing in another member of the Wyatt Family to help Bray Wyatt regain some of the momentum that he has lost over the last couple of weeks. Word has it that the story line will consists of Erick Rowan and Luke Harper both being banned from ringside at Summerslam 2014. The new character would make their debut that night.
August 3, 2014
Chris Jericho
Rumors are floating around right now that Chris Jericho is done with WWE after he finishes up his feud with Bray Wyatt. The return was designed to be a short term thing, as the former undisputed champion still has other business ventures that he wants to focus on. There are talks that Jericho could be convinced to stick around in WWE a bit longer if an interesting program can be created for him.
July 28, 2014
Bray Wyatt
As late as Saturday, management had plans in place for Bray Wyatt to beat Chris Jericho at WWE Battleground 2014. However, Vince McMahon called an audible and had Jericho winning the match. No word yet on why McMahon made this decision, but it is being said that a lot of people backstage were against the idea because Wyatt had already started losing momentum with the audience.
July 22, 2014
Luke Harper
During Monday Night Raw, a segment aired where Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan attacked Chris Jericho in the locker room. That was actually a trick by WWE, as the footage was filmed at the pay per view on Sunday night. Jericho had actually hopped on a flight to Los Angeles on Monday morning, so that he can begin promotional work for the new Fozzy album.
July 22, 2014
Bray Wyatt
It looks like the previous media ban has been completely lifted for Bray Wyatt. WWE is now having him do interviews across the country to promote their events. In the past, the company has forced him to avoid speaking publicly, in order to keep an air of mystery around his character. Management wanted to mold him to be similar to the Undertaker character at one point in time.
July 19, 2014
John Cena
While wrestling fans online are downplaying the incident, WWE is a bit concerned that fans in attendance at the last episode of Monday Night Raw were bored with Bray Wyatt during his segment with Chris Jericho. The chants came as a bit of a surprise to management, as they felt that Wyatt was one of their more popular performers. There were concerns that he would lose interests from some fans once his program with John Cena ended.
July 17, 2014
Ric Flair
When Bray Wyatt was accidentally busted open by some errant punches from Ric Flair at a WWE live event in Madison Square Garden this past weekend, he took it extremely well. Some are even saying that he looked like he enjoyed the moment with the legendary Flair in a legendary arena. Since he did not get upset about the incident, people backstage are praising Wyatt for his attitude.
July 16, 2014
Luke Harper
While it was still noticeable last night, WWE medical personnel worked fervently last night to repair the black eye on Bray Wyatt before he stepped in front of the cameras. They drained fluids from around his eye to reduce the swelling. Then, makeup artists did as much as they could to hide the darkness. WWE worked around the issue by having Erick Rowan and Luke Harper attacking Chris Jericho in the ring before Wyatt made a brief appearance on the stage.
July 15, 2014
Sheamus
It looks like WWE has changed their minds and will not be doing a quick feud between Miz and Chris Jericho after all. The former world champions were penciled for a brief program together, and the seeds were even planted when both made their returns simultaneously on Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks ago. Miz is now being paired up with Sheamus, while Jericho was moved immediately into a feud with Bray Wyatt.
July 15, 2014
Ric Flair
A black eye usually is not something to be proud of. It is, however, when you're a lifelong wrestling fan being punched by one of the greatest performers that the industry has ever seen. Bray Wyatt received a black eye during a big live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City over the weeken due to an errant punch by Ric Flair. Reports are stating that the incident happened because Flair forgot that he was wearing his hall of fame ring. There is said to be no backstage heat between the two due to the injury.
July 14, 2014
Chris Jericho
Tour dates for Fozzy have now been finalized and announced. The band starts touring heavily in September, which means that Chris Jericho will be leaving around that time period. The former undisputed champion currently is scheduled to work WWE events during the month of September, but he has nothing listed afterwards. The belief is that Jericho is simply here to put over Bray Wyatt.
July 9, 2014
Bray Wyatt
If you're a big fan of Chris Jericho, then you probably should not blink. Rumors floating around is that he will be leaving WWE very soon. Some are even saying that he only came back to work with Bray Wyatt and help him get over some more before joining the main event scene. Speculations are that he will be gone before the year is over and that WWE paid him a hefty sum to come back.
July 6, 2014
John Cena
While he was widely viewed as one of the favorites to win the title at Money in the Bank 2014, Bray Wyatt was actually never in consideration as a champion by WWE. The company was dead set on putting the belt back around John Cena, as they felt that they needed their top star to be the face of the company while they're trying to win back the trust of the investors. Putting the belt on Wyatt might not evoke the same level of trust from people who might not necessarily follow the product as much as fans.
