Management has started to accept that the former world heavyweight champion will not be returning to work anytime soon, but they will not let him out of his contract to help another promotion out. WWE would rather just keep him on the sidelines for the time being, especially since Mysterio has reportedly stopped cashing in their checks.

Reports have surfaced that Samoa Joe and TNA parted ways after Bound For Glory 2014 once the contract between the two sides expired. The belief is that Joe could be brought back on board once a new home on television has been found.
