Bray Wyatt hurt

When it comes to being old school, Bray Wyatt was that well before he was born. His family has a long history of toughness. On Sunday afternoon, while preparing for his big match against Undertaker at Wrestlemania, Wyatt suffered a severe ankle sprain. It was so bad that he was having trouble just standing backstage. The medical team put him in a cast to help alleviate the pain. Despite that, though, he still went through with his performance.

While the majority of fans are hoping that Undertaker gets the win at Wrestlemania, there are those backstage in WWE that feel that it would be best for business if Bray Wyatt were to pick up the much needed victory, one that would give him enough momentum to head back into a main event scene that is set to feature a baby face champion in Roman Reigns. A loss for the Phenom would build anticipation for another return next year.

Undertaker at Wrestlemania 31

When it comes to Wrestlemania 31, the biggest known thing coming out of backstage is that WWE definitely wants the Undertaker to work a match. He's simply one of their biggest draws still. As of right now, all signs are pointing to Bray Wyatt being the opponent. No other performer in the company has been given serious considerations by management for the highly coveted role. That does not bode very well for the depth of the current roster.

Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt

While the internet wrestling community has been yearning for some sort of interaction between the real life brothers, WWE has no plan for a program featuring both Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt. An idea has been floated around since both characters have elements of mind control, but management feels that it is too much of a stretch for fans to believe. Also, there is not a lot of support backstage for Dallas being utilized as an upper level performer.

Bray Wyatt elite

Among the performers backstage, there is a certain elite group of people over the years that have been booked strong in the Royal Rumble. Many view that as an accomplishment because WWE is quite selective in how the battle royal is booked. A performer that joined this year was Bray Wyatt, who was allowed to work nearly 50 minutes by management. While not as prestigious as being the winner, longevity is quite the accomplishment.

Bray Wyatt winning Royal Rumble

While the consensus among the internet wrestling community is that either Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan will end up winning the Royal Rumble match tonight, a dark horse candidate has emerged. Reports have surfaced that WWE is seriously considering giving the honor to Bray Wyatt tonight. He has several people backstage who are pushing for him to be elevated into the top spot because his character has potential to thrive.

Chris Jericho potential opponents

Considering the stature that he has reached, it is understandable that Chris Jericho has a lot of clout backstage in WWE. He often times gets to choose the opponent that he wants to work with. Bray Wyatt was a handpicked choice. During a recent interview, the former world heavyweight champion listed three more wrestlers that he wants to work with when he makes his next return. Jericho listed Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as the three.
