"When I first heard the news of the Ultimate Warrior's passing - from my oldest son - my first thoughts were of his precious daughters, and how their father - whose love for them was clear - had been taken away from them far to early in their lives. My second thought was about the foolish tweet I sent out during Warrior's Hall of Fame induction speech - and how badly I wish I could have taken those words back. Maybe they seemed harmless at the time, but in retrospect, the fact that my final words about Warrior were negative ones has had me feeling pretty bad these last 24 hours. I did not dislike Warrior. I got along fine with him in 1996, and years later, during a 'Legends Rountable' focusing on 'Heatseekers', I was good-naturedly kidded by my fellow Roundtable guests for having nothing negative to say about Warrior, Paul Heyman or Buff Bagwell." - Mick Foley talks about his relationship with Ultimate Warrior

Since he is easily one of the biggest stars that professional wrestling ever produced, the Rock remains the top choice for WWE when it comes to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Wrestlemania 31. However, the company has now focused on Sting as a potential candidate to take the top spot in the class next year in case they are unable to convince Rock to participate in the event.

May 17, 2014
Another interesting name that has surfaced in the rumor mill as a potential hall of fame inductee at Wrestlemania 31 is Rikishi. The belief is that including him in the same class as the Rock, whom WWE is hoping will be the centerpiece induction at the event, makes a lot of sense. There is also the chance that a reconciliation and reunion with Naomi Knight and Jimmy Uso could be a big story.

The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony was sent over to On Demand to be aired this past week. However, management opted to make a couple of changes. One of those omissions was the part of the Ultimate Warrior speech where he talked about WWE losing the legal battle against WWF in court. Management did not want that to cause any further legal issues.

While he only made an in ring appearance at the big pay per view this year, Rock is being penciled in to work a match at Wrestlemania 31. WWE actually wants to build the entire event around him. In one of the more awkward moments at the hall of fame, Mr T had his induction speech cut short when WWE sent out Kane. He reiterated that his mother told him to stand up for what he believed in and has vowed to post the remainder of his speech online somewhere.
April 10, 2014
Since the company is around the clock nowadays, WWE had a camera crew following the Ultimate Warrior around during the entire Wrestlemania 30 week, which included his long awaited induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. The belief is that management still wants to put together a special tribute to the week after his untimely death on Tuesday.

Almost immediately after word spread about his death, a lot of people became curious about the net worth of the Ultimate Warrior, especially since fans were introduced to his mother, wife and daughters at the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony. For a while there, people expected Jim Ross to not be on hand for the WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony because the commentator himself stated that he had prior engagements. April 6, 2014
The hall of fame induction speech for the Ultimate Warrior went a little long, but very few people backstage in WWE were upset with it because it was quite entertaining. Warrior spoke from the heart, and he genuinely seemed to be enjoying himself at the hall of fame ceremony. He also gave himself some closure by criticizing the company for producing that DVD a couple of years back.
April 6, 2014
Since he is not as big of a star in the United States as he was in Puerto Rico, WWE did not expect a grand reaction from the audience when Carlos Colon gave his hall of fame induction speech. In fact, Carlito received a much bigger and more lively reaction from the fans. Colon gave a solid speech that did not go on too long, but it was not something that blew everyone away.
April 6, 2014
Since Lita and Mr T went especially long in their segments, it was very obvious to many that Scott Hall had to rush through his hall of fame induction speech. WWE officials were very concerned backstage at the event, and they informed Hall of the situation. That was the reason why Kevin Nash made his joke onstage about having to rush through things.
April 5, 2014
Many were wondering how WWE was going to handle the Paul Bearer induction speech since he is no longer alive. Management opted to use multiple people instead. First, Kane gave an entertaining speech about his former manager. Then, the two sons of Paul Bearer gave a very brief speech before Undertaker came out in character and did a quick pose.
April 5, 2014
A slightly embarrassing situation took place during the Mr T induction speech during the hall of fame ceremony tonight. He spent quite a bit of time talking about his childhood and his mother as opposed to telling any wrestling related stories. WWE tried to resolve the situation by sending Kane out there to let Mr T know that he was over the time limit.
April 5, 2014
There was a little bit of disappointment in the Jake Roberts induction speech earlier tonight, as the legendary former WWE star lost his voice before the hall of fame ceremony. He was unable to get his stories out without struggling. Many backstage were expecting him to give the best speech of the night because he is such a great story teller.

As management is still trying to finalize the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal, there were rumors backstage that Ricardo Rodriguez was a candidate to work the match at Wrestlemania 30. When the announcement was first made that Brad Maddox was going to be wrestling at Wrestlemania 30, it raised some eyebrows with fans, but those backstage in WWE are aware that management was simply looking to reward Maddox for being patient and doing whatever the company has asked of him. He has been yearning to wrestle for quite some time now.
April 4, 2014
In a move that was not expected whatsoever, Brad Maddox announced on the Monday Night Raw kickoff show that he will be wrestling at Wrestlemania 30. The on screen character, who was actually trained as an in ring performer, will be one of the contestants in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal on the pay per view.
March 31, 2014
There are speculations that Brad Maddox could be leaving WWE when his contract expires, as the company really does not have a strong interest in utilizing him in a big role. March 22, 2014

February 20, 2014

"Well right now I'm not at liberty to say where I'm going but I will tell you I'm going to do the right thing for me and my family. I am in the process of structuring a deal and I do have a company in mind. I haven't said yes because I want to make it a public thing with the company and myself. I can't really say who it is or where I'm going but I can tell you it's going to happen in the next two weeks before my contract is even up. I won't be wrestling until January but there will be a signing in the next couple of weeks." - Kurt Angle hinting on whether he will stay with TNA or return to WWE
September 10, 2014
"Today, I have made the decision to close a chapter of my life and begin the next. My time with WWE was an experience I will never forget, and I will always cherish those memories. However, I am ready to move forward towards my goals and life aspirations. I am beyond thankful for the continual love and support from coworkers, friends, and fans. Thank you for everything." - Veronica Lane saying goodbye to WWE fans
September 3, 2014
"I've been really quiet since the passing of my husband and the father of my girls. Someone sent me what Mr Bollea had to say in video interview with Grantland yesterday and I would just like to ask him to stop. He is the only person in the WWE Universe who did not give a call or send a card. My girls asked why he didn't check on us like everyone else and I explained simply there isn't a camera at our mailbox or in the house when we receive our calls. I would ask respectfully Mr Bollea, for you to understand my girls hurt and just let some time pass before you say anything more." - wife of the Ultimate Warrior to Hulk Hogan
August 15, 2014
"My mom and my cousin, Savelina Fanene, were struck head on by a drunk driver this week. They lived. First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them, but then you realize the most important thing is my family lived through this, and we can hug each other that much tighter these days. Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them." - Rock talks about how a DUI almost killed his family
August 10, 2014
"Every two years I go through this. This is just the first public negotiation I've ever had. I think social media has really changed this kind of thing. I'm used to every two years negotiating with Spike and negotiating with other networks. This time is absolutely not any different. We're still talking with them, but there are other people, thank God, that are interested in our product. I want to grow this brand; I want to grow it domestically. I want us to be able to start having the kind of success domestically that we're having internationally. I'm not going to stop and none of us are going to stop until we get there. I'm real excited to see and I think we'll know sooner than later what's going to happen." - Dixie Carter addresses the situation on what TNA is doing with Impact Wrestling
August 7, 2014
"No, I've been there and done it against Chris Jericho and I proved a point, so there's no sense in jeopardizing that. Everyone who saw me work that match said I did good for my age. They have a good memory of that and I'd like to leave it at that. I do know some of the older guys who have come back and tried to work in the ring and it's just heartbreaking to see. I don't want to risk all that because the fans still have a pretty good image of me and my last time in the ring." - Ricky Steamboat talking about a potential return to WWE
August 5, 2014
"If it's true that Spike TV doesn't renew their deal with TNA, it's a double edged sword, in my opinion. They were and are atrociously bad at advertising the show whatsoever. I never used to see us advertised except maybe an hour before Impact Wrestling started. Not acceptable. The most annoying part when I was still wrestling there was I'd see Bellator constantly advertised, and we were doing better numbers at the time. Hell, even Manswers got better public relations by the network than we did. The bad side of the sword is that it obviously takes a ton of TNA's revenue away that they counted on to pay the wrestlers. For the company's future, I think the further they get the hell away from Spike, the better the company will be. That's just my opinion obviously." - Matt Morgan on the rumors that Spike TV is canceling their television deal with TNA
July 28, 2014
"Dolph Ziggler has got to be one of the toughest men to put on a pair of boots, but he's going to be like Mick Foley in another five years because that kid beats his body up more than anybody on the crew. I do know this, in my dealings with him, when I'm his producer, he gives everything he's got. He does some really phenomenal and athletic stuff." - Arn Anderson thinks WWE should push Ziggler
July 20, 2014
"He just signed with us. I was there when he had his tryout at the WWE Performance Center and I met with him there. We've been working on this for a while. His training will start when he gets here. The thing is, you can be a big star anyplace else in the world. That gets you in the door. What you do once you get here is a whole different ballgame. He's no different than anybody else once he walks through the door of the Performance Center." - Triple H on how Kenta Kobayashi will be treated in WWE
July 17, 2014
"I don't think I will ever wrestle again, but if I do, it would be for WWE. I just feel like that's my place. It's where I developed my wrestling abilities and character and that's where I would stay if I was to wrestle again. The good thing about when I left is that I left on very good terms with the WWE. It left the door open for me if I ever wanted to come back. It's not completely out of the question to ever return, whether it's for a short-term or longer. Maybe there will be a point down the line that I miss wrestling bad enough that I'll want to come back. As for now though, I'm just focusing on my company and my marriage and haven't gotten that itch to wrestle." - Kaitlyn discusses her future in professional wrestling
July 17, 2014
"I disagree with scripting. I think the nature of a promo has to come from your heart and your guts and you have to mean everything that you're saying. Now is the perfect time to go back to that formula. You learn to sink or swim. And guys and gals will start to learn to swim again. That's what's going to make the product feel more organic, more spontaneous and more real." - Steve Austin talks about WWE being too scripted
July 7, 2014
"Yes, I like Hulk Hogan - and here's why. With each passing year, I think I gain a better perspective on what's really important in life. There was a time - a period of many years - where Hulk's name would bring up some negative feelings for me. He was the guy who made far more than I did with a style that was the antithesis of mine. But for the past several years, whenever I see Hulk Hogan, all I can think of are the words Shane Douglas shared with me about Hulk Hogan and the kindness and warmth with which he showered the kids facing life-threatening challenges, who seemed to find strength and inspiration in Hulk's larger than life physique and personality. I'll never forget those words Shane told me, 'Those kids would just be beaming.' Those words are all I think of when I see Hogan, People can take issue with his wrestling style...as they often do with mine. But, when it's all said and done, Hulk Hogan used that oversized personality, and really big heart to ease so much suffering that he saw around him.. In the bigger picture, does anything else really matter?" - Mick Foley shares his feelings on Hulk Hogan
June 27, 2014
"Obviously this is going to be a big financial changer because you're not going to get all those buy rates. I've had a brief experience with the WWE Network. I signed up for it. I'm not a real gadget guy. I've had an iPad for damn near two years, but I hardly ever use it. I put the WWE Network on there, and I typed in certain matches, they didn't have certain things from NWA or WCW. So I've been going more to YouTube. I think they need a little bit more original content. I need to get on there more to familiarize myself with it. One of the things I've enjoyed is the old Garden stuff and from World Class (Championship Wrestling). I think it was smart to come out with the network. I think it's going to catch on more in the next two or three years, and that's when it will pay off." - Steve Austin shares his views on the WWE Network
June 27, 2014
"He is a pro. He comes to work everyday. He is straight forward and tells you exactly what it is. One of my things was I didn't get to work a match with him. I would have dropped the weight I did and keep the muscle I have. He is a great leader in terms of he talks it; he walks it. He is the face of the WWE and likely so. John Cena gave us all an opportunity to train and have the same training regiment. The training of the NBA and NFL with Olympic lifts for maintenance, for power, better cardiovascular. He was on the forefront. He gave guys an opportunity." - Brodus Clay defending John Cena
June 19, 2014
"It actually came from a joke. Cody Rhodes likes to tell a story that when he was a little kid he used to watch me wrestle. I'm slightly older than Cody, we're talking three years or something like that, but in his head I'm a really old man. I once walked into the locker room and he was telling the entire locker room that when he was a kid he was watching me wrestling as this character he made up named 'Bad News Barrett' who goes around giving out bad news to people. So we all laughed about it and forgot about it. Then I was invited on the JBL and Cole show and they said they wanted to use me on the show and asked if I had any ideas of what to do. So I said you know what, let's just do Bad News Barrett. I'll just turn up and give people bad news and then disappear. I got a really good response online and fans were loving the catch phrase 'I'm afraid I've got some bad news' and Vince McMahon saw it and thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. Next thing you know I'm on TV doing it." - Wade Barrett explaining how his new gimmick in WWE came ot be
June 16, 2014
"I wasn't sold on him. I wasn't sold on the idea that they kept comparing him to Bruiser Brody, because Brody for the longtime wrestling fan was one of the great wrestlers of his era or of all time. But he was known as the intelligent monster and Harper was an out of control maniac. I think once you stop trying to imitate somebody and find your own way things really start clicking. So, I've been watching him and things have really been clicking and after the Wyatts have this amazing run, hopefully as long as possible, yeah, I do think he has what it takes to become a singles star." - Mick Foley shares his views on Luke Harper and his potential to become a star in WWE
