There is some concern backstage in WWE, now that CM Punk has decided to walk out of the company. He was viewed as the person who was not afraid to speak up for his fellow performers when management does something unfavorable. With him gone, so goes the leverage for the wrestlers.
"I'll literally be getting dressed or something, I turn the corner, and WHAM there's the cameras. 'Ah, they got me again.' It's like Where's Waldo, you never know where they're gonna be. And for me when I'm backstage, preparing, getting ready, it's not something I wanna be bothered with. So sometimes you'll just randomly hear guys cursing, like that's gonna get them off of the show, like they can't use that scene or something because, 'there's that guy, he's just cussing in the background. A lot of guys just, they all just duck their heads and walk off. So that's something that we deal with but that's the world of entertainment."

"Everyone wanted that spot and I was the lucky one that got chosen. It's an absolute honor. Growing up watching Ric Flair with the way he dressed, the way he walks, the way he talks, I kind of embodied that character. It's been working out really well because I've been winning with it. So thank you Ric Flair, I'm finally winning."

Former nWo stable mates Kevin Nash and Booker T have come to terms on a contract. Nash, who surprised wrestling fans by returning to WWE at Royal Rumble 2014, will be working a show for Booker on February 15, and there is a chance that he could be working more dates for the promotion.
Aside from his day job as a WWE personality, Booker T is making some really good progress as a wrestling promoter. The former world champion has reached a deal with Kube to air his Reality of Wrestling on a weekly basis in the Houston area.

Since they are friends in real life, Michael Cole flew down to Houston this week to do commentary at Reality of Wrestling Christmas Chaos, an event promoted by Booker T. The two of them requested and received permission from WWE to do so.
After Monday Night Raw went off the air, a match between John Cena and Randy Orton took place. The interesting thing about this particular segment was that Booker T, who used to wrestle frequently in Dallas, was the special guest referee.

Sheamus and Booker T were in attendance for the game between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, as WWE wanted to do a little promotion since Wrestlemania 31 will be held in the area.
"I really want to get past that stage in my life. I'm trying to put that part of my life behind me. I want to produce and direct. I want to work behind the scenes. Let the guys like CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, The Shield do it and get to that next level. It's not about me anymore. I understand that first and foremost. Don't try to fool myself that I can still hang with these guys because they can run circles around me. Over a period of time anyway, I can hold my own for one night. It's about these guys and the young guys. It's about WWE and the superstars and looking at WrestleMania, looking at it 15 years from now. Who is going to be that big superstar? What superstars will be created in that time? The evolution of life goes and goes and never stops. You have to be prepared for that. Thank God I have been preparing that for many years."
Booker T has decided to do a finishing school for wrestlers who have already gone through the regular program and are ready to try out for bigger promotions like ROH, TNA and WWE.
