While promoting his new book, JTG agreed to do an interview recently, and he was asked about how black performers were treated in WWE. He stated that the creative department needed to have more diversity among the writers because they simply cannot come up with up to date characters and gimmicks for black performers. He feels that is a market that is severely neglected.

While he had no qualms about discussing the topic through social media, CM Punk opted for the high road when asked about the Hulk Hogan controversy during a questions and answers session with UFC fans this week. The former world heavyweight champion playfully mocked Hogan online by referencing an old Booker T interview and the much maligned Bill Cosby, another 80s icon.

Despite not being booked as a serious threat to anyone in the main event scene, R Truth is still valued by the front office. Many within WWE feel that he is quite popular with the younger demographic. That is a reason why management opted to put him in the new adult themed cartoon that the company is currently producing.

When asked for his feelings towards the late Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat showed a tremendous amount of honesty when he said that he had mixed feelings towards his former coworker. Steamboat stated that Rhodes used to purposely book Steamboat to not be able to beat the top heels in the Carolinas territory so that Rhodes can come in and finish up the job, making himself look good.

Rumors are floating around right now that there is a major difference of opinions backstage on how Seth Rollins should be booked as a heel champion. Triple H wants to keep going the old school route by having Rollins be a cowardly champion, much like how Ric Flair used to be. Vince McMahon, however, wants Rollins to be booked as a stronger champion with more credibility with the fans.

While that may be enough to get the internet wrestling community into a frenzy, a deeper look reveals that they are not as certain as they have been in the past. Lesnar could end up winning the match but not capturing the WWE championship.

Sting is reportedly booked for a match as well, but no confirmation yet that the two of them will be in the same ring that night.
