While his appearance in NXT was only a cameo, James Storm stated that he had not intended to make a return to TNA so quickly afterwards. Things just came together. Storm, who is now teaming with Bobby Roode again, stated that he had some very good discussions with Triple H, whom he has called one of the most passionate people in professional wrestling. James believes that the door for a potential WWE return has been left open for him.

In case you missed Impact Wrestling this week, Bobby Roode dropped the King of the Mountain Championship to Eric Young. The reason for the title change is because TNA wanted to do a Beer Money reunion to spark some interest from their fans. Roode and James Storm are expected to challenge for the tag team championship. They are also expected to be the centerpiece of the tag team division for the time being.

While doing a podcast interview, Bobby Roode was asked about his start in professional wrestling. The TNA star revealed that Val Venis trained him for absolutely free. This was right around the time where Venis was set to make his debut in WWE. The two of them lived within miles of one another in Canada and met one day. Venis told Roode that he had a ring in his backyard and invited him to come over to check it out. The rest is history.

There is a very good chance that Beer Money will be reunited on a permanent basis now that James Storm has returned to TNA. During the first episode of Impact Wrestling that aired on POP TV, the former world heavyweight champion came back and celebrated with Bobby Roode. Later on in the night, Roode dropped the King of the Mountain Championship to Eric Young, adding further fuel to the speculation.

Jim Ross recently chimed in and stated that he hopes that WWE will be wise enough to scoop up the former world heavyweight champion. The legendary commentator compared Roode to a modern day version of Arn Anderson.

After teasing it last night, it has now been revealed that Bobby Roode will indeed be at the first GFW television taping that is taking place later this month in Las Vegas. The former world heavyweight champion is being allowed to add his star power to help the new promotion get up off the ground. He is still under contract to TNA.

As expected, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy were forced to vacate the tag team championship because the former has been left on his own as the latter is going to need several months to recover from a dirt bike injury. TNA has decided to have Bobby Roode and Austin Aries join the fray. The two of them will be facing Davey Richards and the returning Eddie Edwards in a best of five series to determine which team will hold the belts.

Since Bobby Roode is one of the best overall performers in the entire world, there are many within WWE that are disappointed that the front office did not try harder to lure him in while he was a free agent. In addition to being an old school style of wrestler that simply gets the business, Roode is also one of the more likable guys around. He comes off as someone that respects wrestling and those that paved the way before him.
