Those that watched Monday Night Raw this week may have noticed that Sheamus was not in attendance. The former WWE champion will also not be appearing on the next episode of Smackdown, either. That's because the Irish star has been taken off of the road due to a severe flu. The illness is probably quite bad since Sheamus has been known to work through injuries before.

Ric Flair
While Ric Flair made his much anticipated return to Monday Night Raw this past week, WWE reportedly has no plans for the former world heavyweight champion. He was supposed to make another random appearance on Smackdown, but that was changed at the last minute due to the script being completely reworked. Flair will sporadically be making appearances for WWE heading into Summerslam 2014.
July 19, 2014
John Cena
Rumors are floating around that the segment on Monday Night Raw between John Cena and Ric Flair was a subtle way for WWE to retire the world heavyweight championship belt. For those that missed it, Cena handed the belt over to Flair and told the legendary performer to keep it. WWE has not released an official statement on the matter yet, so fans will be tuning in to Smackdown and WWE Battleground 2014 to see the fate of the belt.
July 15, 2014
Adam Rose
Rumors are floating around right now that Adam Rose is expected to replace Santino Marella as the comedy routine on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. However, those reporting on the speculation are failing to remember that Damien Sandow actually owns that role in WWE at the moment. Management is still not sold on Rose, so the chances of him being moved above Sandow isn't very high at the moment.
July 11, 2014
Emma
Even though the company quickly rehired her, Emma might actually still be in hot water with WWE. The diva was not spotted backstage at Monday Night Raw or Smackdown this week. The belief is that the company has sent her home for the time being. Many believe that it will be quite some time before Emma is allowed back on television.
July 10, 2014
Jonathan Coachman
In a rather interesting bit of news, Renee Young has been moving up the ladder quite a bit in WWE. The belief is that the company is trying to appease her after finding out that ESPN was interested in bringing the beautiful blonde over to their network. The company had already lost Jonathan Coachman and Todd Grisham to the sports network. They don't want to lose Young as well. There are those backstage that even believe that Vince McMahon could allow her to become a commentator on Smackdown or Monday Night Raw, in order to keep her from bolting.
July 10, 2014
Miz
Up until today, it was a bit of a mystery as to when Ric Flair would be making his television return for WWE. Well, that puzzle has now been solved. Some are speculating that he could be a mystery entrant into the upcoming Intercontinental Championship battle royal at WWE Battleground 2014.

Santino Marella
When he announced his sudden decision to retire, Santino Marella teased WWE fans that he might be taking over as the new general manager of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. The belief is that he was simply teasing the audience at this point.
July 7, 2014
David Otunga
Earlier in this week, Zack Ryder revealed to fans that WWE is no longer selling his merchandise. The belief is that it is a part of the company's plan to diminish his name value for when they decide to release him from his contract. Since the start of the year, Ryder has only been utilized eight times on television, all of which were losses. He hasn't had a victory on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown since December of 2012, when he pinned David Otunga on Raw.
July 5, 2014
Bret Hart
Monday Night Raw is heading to Montreal next month, and Bret Hart has been signed to make an appearance. Rosa Mendes
Taping has started for the next season of Total Divas, which means that WWE will start featuring a lot of the cast members on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown a bit more now. Rumors have it that she will play a big part on Total Divas, so her push in WWE could be very big as well.
June 21, 2014
Bray Wyatt
Since his feud with John Cena cannot go on forever, fans have naturally wondered who WWE was going to have Bray Wyatt feuding against next. There hasn't been any clear indications on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown as to who he will transition into a program with, but rumors are floating around right now that it could be Sheamus. The two of them are scheduled to work against one another on an upcoming tour of Australia, so that could be what WWE has in mind.
June 20, 2014
Adam Rose
Those that watch Monday Night Raw and Smackdown are already aware that Damien Sandow is being buried by WWE. June 12, 2014
Yoshi Tatsu
While there is some sadness to every release today, the departure of Yoshi Tatsu has to be bothering several people left in WWE. He was well liked backstage, as he never got involved in any of the political stuff in the locker room. Tatsu kept a positive attitude since being removed from the main roster. He put in a lot of time and effort into improving himself in developmental, so he could get another chance to work Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Unfortunately, though, it was not enough for WWE.
June 12, 2014
Camacho

His tag team partner Hunico still remains on the roster.
June 12, 2014
Curt Hawkins
Another name that was chopped from WWE today was Curt Hawkins. He joins several other wrestlers who received their release from the company today. Management was not very big on Hawkins, as it has been nearly two years since he has worked a match on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. It has also been roughly two years since he was given a televised victory by WWE.
