Great Khali

Great Khali

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that several Smackdown superstars have complained about working with the Great Khali.

The general feeling backstage is that the Great Khali (and Mark Henry to a certain extent) is limited as a wrestler. It’s a bit difficult to work with him because wrestlers can’t perform their full arsenal of moves on him. Plus, the Great Khali has a basic move set of his own, which makes it difficult for opponents to try to look good at selling moves.

There are even a few superstars who are rooting for the push of the Major Brothers. While Brett Major and Brian Major aren’t going to be contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship any time soon, having them aligned with Edge means that they’ll be working more often against main event wrestlers. They’re inexperienced as well, but a lot easier to work with than the Great Khali.

This report does help to explain how the Great Khali has gone from being a World Heavyweight Champion to being at the bottom of the card in a span of a few months.

Great Khali

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Dave Kapoor (the Great Khali’s translator) got into some trouble after the 15th anniversary edition of Monday Night Raw.

After the show went off the air, Stephanie McMahon called Dave Kapoor (who is also a WWE writer) over and yelled at him. She said that he was quite unprofessional. She also threatened to fire him as well.

Apparently, Stephanie McMahon felt that Dave Kapoor was having too much fun during the final celebration where all of the wrestlers broke character and had some fun in the ring. It’s a bit weird for Dave Kapoor to be singled out considering how everyone else was having fun as well. In fact, Randy Orton and Umaga were in the ring convincing some of the strippers (the girls that came with the Godfather) to take off their clothes.

WWE Batista

WrestlingRevealed.com has learned that Batista took a verbal shot at the Great Khali in an interview.

When asked about the Great Khali, Batista commented that he was disgusted when WWE made the decision to put the title around the big man.

“I didn’t think he deserved the world championship. I don’t want to say it made me sick to my stomach to see the title in his hands, but it really did make me sick to my stomach.”

When Edge and the Undertaker both went down to injuries, management had to find someone to carry the World Heavyweight Championship for a few months. Rather than choosing Batista or Kane, management went with the Great Khali as champion.

Batista has never been one to shy away from controversial comments in the past. He’s very outspoken, which means that he’s one of the more entertaining wrestlers to listen to.
